Do you think TorB did a good job as a master? if not or not enough what will you do to improve it ?

I wish I can see a never seen darkness deck that can beat AI3 at least 5 times in a row. (a darkness deck is a deck with 50 % darkness cards in it)

Ofcourse I think that torb did a good job as a master I think that, if he didn't, he wouldn't have been there for a 2nd term.

I do not think I can improve it, as I said with Xeno earlier, we are simply different and bring in some different ways. I can definitely bring something new.

That would be my guess for unseen decks Most people forget that most of darkness creatures are airborne.

I decided to put an unupped deck as, to me, people who really care about ai3 are the ones who want to get upgrades, as in dont have any yet.

I think Anti-matter fits darkness theme of using the enemy against himself. Therefore, this is the card I believe should be in darkness.

I think Parasite should belong to death instead of darkness. Is goal is to end up killing an enemy craeture, and that fits the death theme a lot more than the darkness one.

Well, before I answer that question I should be perfectly honest about something: I probably won't be participating in War.

Right now, masters are mostly seen as war generals. Though, I dislike this idea, that is pretty much how it is seen right now. What will you do for the community as a master, considering you do not want to do war? What will being a master allow you to do that you can not already do?

Sorry if that seems like totally bashing you, it is honestly not my intention. As I said earlier, I believe you would do just as good as a master than TorB, bogtro, or I would do.

TorB did a good job as a Master in many respects. He has been an active member of our community, and has contributed to it greatly through his work as a Tournament Organizer and Council Member. He also kept the Darkness Cards section nice and tidy. He hasn't done that well in War, but I'm not going to comment on that for obvious reasons.

Darkness has a great Master and will still if TorB keeps his title. However, Darkness still seems obscure. Sure, Darkness is all about obscurity, but only until it leaps out of the shadows and takes its rightful place as king of all the elements. TorB has so far done nothing that I can see to set Darkness apart.

And that's where I come in. I will bring Darkness to glory through the Forum Brawl event, I will promote Darkness with decks and/or card ideas, and I will show everyone that Darkness is the best element!

I've addressed most of this in my answer to ralouf1. Apart from my love for Darkness, the main reason that I want to become a Master to get rid of the idea that being a Master is all about being a War General.

Extreme denial. Works great quickly against mono decks with pests, and has the BH idea that removes from all elements that pests lack. While amber nymphs are vulnerable to CC in bh/discord, they are now protected by cloak.

Disclaimer: I'm trying to provide constructive criticism here. Sorry if it comes off a little rude. It's also a bit discombobulated.

While the basic ideas are good, I do have to be honest here. None of the synergies in the decks are really new to me (or probably most others), although they serve as good starting guides for newbies. You are also seeming to come off a bit rushed and desperate in the posts. I, as a rule, don't like posting things (cards or decks) that aren't either well thought out and close to completion or brainstorming ideas that I want help with. The card ideas that you posted seem to be more of "the first idea I thought of" than a well-designed balanced card [which is ok, as ideas are the first part of a card]. Same with the decks - they seem to be more about the most obvious synergy (which again isn't a bad thing) than a new revolutionary deck.

Just my quick 2 cents - I think the ideas are good but somewhat unoriginal and rushed.

EDIT: Rereading what I wrote, I really wasn't clear in what I meant. What I meant to say is that these card ideas seem far from complete (even though they are thought-out), and appear to have been rushed solely for Trials. While this is respectable, I don't feel like posting an unfinished product for the sake of voting is a really good idea. This isn't to say that the ideas are bad; I like them, but they certainly look unpolished and could use some work (think: would you submit these into the Crucible right this second?)

Hmm, I guess I was not clear when I posted those decks. The main goal was to show that Darkness is an element that can duo with anything and wanted to prove it with some original and some less original decks.

As for the card ideas ... Sorry if they really seem like I didnt take the time to think about them ... I actually did.
