Hello people! Imma ask some "getting to know you" questions.
1.For everyone: Is the element you are trialing for your favourite element? if its not then which is and why didnt you trial for it? If it is then which is your 2nd favourite and would consider trialing for it next time if you dont win these trials?
2.For everyone: Do you value higher the general of an element in war or the element itself? (for example your favourite element is but STANDIN became the master of would you want to join the great master STANDIN or your favourite element no matter what general it has?)
3. For everyone: On the other side of the coin. As a general yourself, would you value higher more active players that may not hold your element as their favourite or players that have your element as their favourite but arent so active-or there are other problems-?
5. Challengers Only: assuming you make it to the finals. How would you react if the master didnt draft you in the coming war?(considering you want to be in the same team)
6. Last question for everyone: Why do you want to win trials? Why do you want to be a master?
thank you. kthxbai

. Best element. End of story. Second favorite is a tough choice, I'll have to split it between
,
, and
. Life from
my signature deck, air from
my name, and aether because of all those hours in 2010 with classic MA. It also meshes really well with darkness-- in the final round, we were considering sending in four separate aether duos, just because we could!
2. I've personally only ever warred for darkness(4 and 9), and it's my go-to when participating in events. That said, nobody can get their favorite element all the time, and your experience is generally determined more by the people you play with than by the element you pick. I'd always go for darkness if I can, but if the right team composition is waiting somewhere else, it could be very, very tempting.
3. If you're inactive, you might as well not be on the team. In my opinion, one of the biggest factors in our War 9 success was our massive activity-- a lot of the time it felt like we were always on the pad, and everybody was almost always contributing, whether testing, deckbuilding, or analyzing. If people have to take a week off at some point that's one thing- those points were when we cycled out the busy person. One of the best statistics I liked about our team was that we had an extremely even division of who we had to shunt the bye on each round. I'll take active, energized folks who might happen to have another favorite element any day over somebody who doesn't show up.
5. I'd like to think that I have a positive relationship with most of the other challengers, so it would be fairly disappointing, depending on who makes the title.
With Physsion, our record last war was pretty impressive, and I think our results speak for themselves. However, the point is rather moot here-- he's WM, so I suppose that would be out of his hands unless he still gets to make the team.
With ji412jo, he was one of the people who encouraged me to consider this Trials in the first place, and I'm fairly sure there's a good amount of respect between us. If he's not drafting me, he'd better have Kael Hate, ToRB, and Odii Odsen in there!
With chrispybacon84, I certainly hope I'd be at least considered! We've done a lot of things together, from War to TPvP to maxed out BL matches. Same as above.
I'm afraid I don't know DANIEELA that well outside of League matches, so while I'd be disappointed, I'd understand.
