Its funny that the  Element that has been reining on the forums for the last 2 periods is the least popular in terms of Challengers -- a single soul only. Most others have 4 contenders (with  being second least popular with only 2).

Does everybody hate  for being OP , or everybody is afraid of challenging deuce ?

I definitely think that it's the latter.  It's intimidating to go up against a back-to-back war-winning master/general!  Plus, on top of that he gets all those extra points.

Not really how it works. People have always flocked to the less successful elements because they want to both prove the element is better than that and also show what they can do with it.
With deuce, people are both pleased with where Aether is PvP-wise and they don't particularily think they can do better either.

In other words, there's no new vision for the element surfacing. Some are pleased and the rest have no passion. It's not a personal thing to them. To me, Elements would be pointless if Aether didn't mean a lot to me as a person.

If i were a challenger : I'd be too busy baking popcorn to watch haink battle deuce.

To me, Elements would be pointless if Aether didn't mean a lot to me as a person.

I see your optimistic argument and raise it with cynicism.

People tend to prefer to be master of one of the weaker elements because it is safer. No one is going to blame you for losing with an inferior element but it would be your fault if you lose with a strong element. People don't want to look like a loser and are cowards. They don't realize losing has its own glorious beauty : )

I intend to enslave deuce and bully him around.

I just find Aether to be a 'neutral' element. Shields itself from battle with Dims, and sends out untouchable creatures to fight, but never goes all out mass damage until someone really declares war, and that's where Fractal comes in. Not really my taste.
