I find it hard not to vote for Higurashi given the success she has had with Aether. If it ain't broken, why fix it?

Napoleon got exiled after he started losing. He was still very feared/popular (depending fro which side you're watching)
I have voted for a currenty succesful Higurashi. I will not vote for her when she loses 5-0 in Trials or makes Aether look awful in War.

Given the extent of such power, what do you feels is Aether's biggest weakness in Elements the Game? Do you feel this weakness helps to balance or imbalance Aether?

I find it hard not to vote for Higurashi given the success she has had with Aether. If it ain't broken, why fix it?

I completely agree that Higs has been an excellent master and there is really no overt reason for her to be replaced. Also, I do feel that all of the challengers, including myself, are more than qualified to be master of aether in the event that Higs loses the final battle.

However, I will provide a reason not to vote for Higs. In the times I've chatted with Higs since trials started, she has said more than once that she hopes to receive more of a challenge this trials. And if I were in her position, I would feel the same way because you should have to earn the title of master, not necessarily be given a significant advantage over your challenger that makes it easy to retain the title. While the voting this phase is technically for "who you think should be master", it is really more about who do you want to challenge higs, and how much of an advantage do you want to give Higs or the challenger.

Obviously, I am going to advocate for the community to vote for myself because I feel I can give Higs the challenge she is looking for.  I gave higs an epic battle last war and I've beaten her recently in the finals of a tourney. I am not afraid nor intimidated of facing her, and I am very confident that I can push higs to her limits. My hope is that this will lead to a better performance in War #5 for team , regardless of who the master is.

is my favorite element,  i care about its master and it felt good seeing these 4 candidates for the title as i like all 4 of them for different reasons.

@deuce22: i guess you and higs are already tied in score. I voted for higs without really hesitating, tho if Higs really prefer it rough and she states her wish for being at card disadvantage; i can change my vote

Trying to vote to tip the scales a certain way is always a horrible idea since you don't have any idea how the votes are distributed in the first place. It's no coincidence you're -supposed- to vote for the person you want as Master.

I've never said I want any kind of disadvantage. Challenges drive me to play games though; it's what motivates me. That's part of why I hate RNG fails so much; it removes what I enjoy about it all. Pretty sure any of you challengers can give me a challenge if you put some effort into it :>

Aether's biggest weakness is the lack of a stable creature base. Although Aether possesses a whole bunch of utility cards that enable other creatures (Fractal, Parallel Universe, Quintessence, etc.), its in-element creatures generally don't benefit from them (Recluses are generally too small to PU and Fractal drains all quanta, so that spamming Recluses isn't a fast option, Ball Lightnings are have the drawback of being 0 HP, Immortal and Phase Dragon are immaterial, and Turquoise Nymph is overshadowed by Quintessence and Phase Recluse). Creature-wise, Aether can't function all too well without turning to another element for faster/stronger creatures to use with its combo enablers.

In a sense, Aether and Life are foils to each other. Life has a robust creature base, but few utility cards; while Aether has lots of support cards, and a creature base that's hard to work with.

I apologize if my previous post suggested that I want to give you a disadvantage, which is not at all what I was trying to get across. I did use the words "advantage/disadvantage", but I probably should have just left that out. I think that you are by far the most qualified for the title of master of aether, and ideally, you should win 100% of the votes. Unfortunately, this will never be the case.

Obviously i would like for community members to vote for me, but I should have taken more care in writing my previous post. I've said it before, and I will say it again, everyone participating in aether trials is more than qualified for the position, and I hold the utmost respect for each of you.

Just wanted to thank those who voted for me allowing me to participate in the final battle. I hope I can represent your votes well.
