Hello, for those of you who don't know me I am ProBacon. This is my first trials and I am hopeful to participate in my first war in the upcoming War 10. To be blunt, I do not expect to be the Master of Aether, I am just hoping to do the best I can to gain more experience moving ahead into the future. Here is my Phase 1 stuff to look at if you choose to do so.

Hello people! Imma ask some "getting to know you" questions.

1.For everyone: Is the element you are trialing for your favourite element? if its not then which is and why didnt you trial for it? If it is then which is your 2nd favourite and would consider trialing for it next time if you dont win these trials?

2.For everyone: Do you value higher the general of an element in war or the element itself? (for example your favourite element is  but STANDIN became the master of  would you want to join the great master STANDIN or your favourite element no matter what general it has?)

3. For everyone: On the other side of the coin. As a general yourself, would you value higher more active players that may not hold your element as their favourite or players that have your element as their favourite but arent so active-or there are other problems-?

4. Masters Only: how would react if you had the lowest votes out of everyone in phase 3?

5. Challengers Only: assuming you make it to the finals. How would you react if the master didnt draft you in the coming war?(considering you want to be in the same team)

6. Last question for everyone: Why do you want to win trials? Why do you want to be a master?

1. Aether is my favorite element but it was not my first favorite. THB Earth was my first favorite on the sole reason that I had built a strong Grabquake. My favorite element started to shift when I saw the plentiful amount of great cards and strategies that Aether brought. My second favorite element is Darkness and I would never trial for that, I do not want to take spots away for die hard Darkness fans.

2. If you truly love an element you will fight for it no matter who the general is. So I will stand by the side of whoever is put in charge of leading Aether to the top spot.

3. If I am the general of Aether and I pick you to my side, then I picked you for a reason. It could be that you are a good fighter or know good strategies. I have no care for your elemental affiliation.

5. I would not mind. Yes I would be hurt at first but when it comes down to it there is a reason I was not drafted to their team. If they don't want me then they do not need to draft me.

6. I want to win trials to prove to me and others that I can make it big in the elements community. For as to why I want to be master, I mean come on, who doesn't want the title of Master of Anything?

Due to IRL time constraints this is the only person who's question(s) I am going to answer, sorry for not answering any others. Truly I am.

About the old poll: I have no idea who deleted it. At about 1245 GMT I'd accidentally clicked on the remove vote option, but when the pop-up appeared I closed the tab fast and was just relieved how I'd avoided derping. After that I didn't reopen the thread until 1302, when I found the poll dissappeared. I've checked, closing the tab after having the pop-up does not remove the poll. I've checked moderation logs, but sadly polls aren't recorded there. Maybe admins have records of poll moderation?

Last I checked, it was 14 votes for me and 9 for Regy and 1 for ProBacon, with me at 28.6% (which had the highest fraction) and Regy at 18.4%. This would mean 49 votes in total. I can't remember whether it was 3 or 4 votes for none-worthy. Of course, I have no proof so this can't be taken officially, just stating all I know.

If anyone could confirm seeing the poll up after 1245 GMT, I'd be grateful. I wish the TrOs the best of luck in investigating the matter.

And if the community loses faith in me, I'm just gonna step down as TrO and Guildmaster and resign from these Trials. Please, let me know if you feel like this should be the case. Or let TrOs/Admins/Council know.

Last I checked, it was 14 votes for me and 9 for Regy and 1 for ProBacon, with me at 28.6% (which had the highest fraction) and Regy at 18.4%. This would mean 49 votes in total. I can't remember whether it was 3 or 4 votes for none-worthy. Of course, I have no proof so this can't be taken officially, just stating all I know.

I'm not sure how I missed this until now. None of this makes sense to me. First of all, why is there zero mention of what deuce's vote count or percentage was at the time? Secondly, with the values you've provided this would mean that deuce's total was nearly 50%, which makes your "(which had the highest fraction)" statement completely false. I'm not going to bother questioning whether any of this was done with malicious intent or not but from the way this post was structured I would think that people would be swayed to recast their votes against deuce because it appears he wasn't even worth mentioning in comparison to the rest of the vote counts.

Well, at least Zawa isn't going through to the final, which removes a small amount of the drama, but does little to lessen the effect of 1-3 fewer upgrades for Deuce.

I 100% do not believe Zawa did this intentionally. Almost certainly, he clicked "Remove Poll" instead of "Remove Vote" which caused the failure.

About the phrasing of reply, i am not sure why he did not include deuce's number of votes and vote %, but reading it, it simply sounds like "which had the highest fraction" refers to the challengers, not deuce. I imagine that his phasing was (silly) but referring to the challengers only because that's who would be most affected, as the poll could affect who ended up in the final.

I think it would be a shame to have Zawa, who up until this point has been an exemplary TrO, among other staff positions, stripped of positions. We have precious few members who are active and driven enough, and competent enough at their roles, to have this (imo) mistake mar his otherwise perfect reputation.

I didn't mention deuce's vote count because I expected the math to be done. I wanted to know if I was gonna pass to the Final Battle, so I was checking min and regy's vote (and the fraction I mentioned was what you get after you remove the multiples of 10%. This would signify who got his total rounded up, which I'd need if I wanted to beat Regy). So I did not recall the exact number of votes deuce received, but yes it was more than 20. 

I dunno why deuce's votes got lessened in the new poll, or why my vote count would increase :/ But I thank everyone who voted for me. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the finals. Best of luck, you two.

Regyptic received more points from Phase 1 and 2, and they tied for Phase 3 points.

Zawadx had a 7 point bonus from his loyalty and his placing in War, but bonus points don't affect selection for the final.

Thanks... it's the only element where this rule actually made a difference it's weird, but I get why it's there as a rule... good luck to Regyptic and Deuce and well, you we're close Zawa!
