Well, it's 5-1 to xdude. I'm sure he can give a more comprehensive feedback. That and the fact that I forgot some of his decks. I'll try my best.
Game one: My Life/light vs light/aether. The rush got going on my half, and I accumulated 6 dragons quite quickly. However, Dimensional shield chaining saw the end for me. 1-0
Game two: My Dark/Light vs what I believe was a quicksand deck. Him destroying my pillars, and bad draws saw the end of that one very quickly. 2-0
Game three: My fire/ light vs his Light Entropy. He got out his purple nymph (which he called Jmizzle) and buffed it with 4 blessings, boosting it's power to 15/14, and rendering all my dragons useless. Luckily, I had something up my sleeve. Namely 3 rage potions. He seemed somewhat infuriated when I killed Jmizzle, and after a short scare of him decking out, he promptly defeated me. 3-0
Game four: My light/fire deckout deck vs his Darkness / Light. Bad draws and the fact that 58 cards was not necessarily a good idea sealed it for me. 4-0
Game five: My first victory! My life/light again vs Mono-light. This was probably the most balanced game. The rush got going on both sides, and Miracles were eaten like candy. It ended up in a position with xdude with 5 or so light dragons on the field, and my with 5 or so jade dragons. He just attacked me, and I was down to about 20 health with no miracles left. In my hand was the 1 golden dragon, and I had 11 light quanta. I was just short of killing xdude with the next attack. The card I drew was..... A light tower. Joy of joys. That game went to me. 4-1
Game six: My light/water vs a light/time deck. He started off with many precognitions and light dragons, but I was there with a Squid and Ice Shield to stop him. Keeping him in check, I sent out my Nymph Queen, to make use of my light towers. I manages to get out two white nymphs before the sheer power of his dragons beat me to death. 5-1
Looks like xdude, Terro and Essence go through to the GM final.
Thanks to xdude for some of the most challenging PVP battles I ever faced
