*cries*I really had to stretch my imagination in designing all of these decks for the Trials, and some of them I didn't even use (I don't know why I didn't
).
Round 1 (L):
5ul 5ul 5ul 5v0 5v1 5v1 5v8 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q5 7q8 7q8 7qb 7qb 7qb 7ri 7ri 7t4 7t4 7ta 7ta 7td 7td 7td 7td
Damn Miracle and Morning Glory meant trouble - I was willing to bet that Xinef wasn't going to use a Time-Darkness duo during the first round, so I had this up my sleeve. Throwing in Nightmares was to ensure that he couldn't improve his draw rate (should he have had hourglasses), but obviously that didn't work very well.
Round 2 (L):
592 592 5ri 5ri 5ri 5ri 5ri 778 778 778 778 778 778 77c 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q8 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
I was wondering if I was going to get lucky this time, but none of my fate eggs turned into any dragons or what not. It was a close match, but at this point I was started to become stressed out. I wish I banned Steal earlier.
Round 3 (W):
55q 55q 55q 5rj 5rp 5rp 5rt 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 7an 7an 7an 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q8 7qb 7qb 7ri 80h 80h 80h
The deck that I had tested the most during the process - it's TTW wasn't very good still, but I figured that the only way to counter this deck was by Nightmare or Black Hole to deny my quanta sources. I'm just glad I won with this deck, because if I didn't, I may have just as well give up.
Round 4 (L):
4vl 4vl 5rg 5rj 5rt 5rt 5rt 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u5 7n2 7n2 7n2 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q8 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
Failed idea - I should have stuck with the original Psycho Deja I was used before, considering how effective it was against Shields. Discord was supposed to be a fun trick I wanted to use against Xinef, but Phase Shields and Mind Gates just ruined my strategy altogether. I should have banned Phase Shield instead of Deadly Poison. >_<
Round 5 (W):
5c2 5c2 5c2 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 7an 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q4 7q5 7q8 7qc 7qc 7qc 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
Gotta love adrenaline.
Round 6 (L):
55q 55q 560 576 5rj 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 6rn 6rn 6rn 745 745 745 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7q8 7qc 7qc 7qc 7qc
Unlike Xinef, I had a poor hand (in my opinion) - I was led to wonder if my quanta production skills were even good at this point, despite the tower and pendulums I packed. I think I underestimated how much quanta I really needed, which was why Xinef was so quick to defeat me as well as his epic hand.
Round 7 (L):
55q 55q 55q 5rj 5rp 5rp 5rt 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 7an 7an 7an 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q8 7qb 7qb 7ri 80h 80h 80h
So much for second time's a charm - I got a bad draw in my starting hand, so it was all fail from then on out.
...on that note, good games Xinef. Here were a few of my other decks that I -should- have tried out against you, but I didn't.
52g 52g 52g 52q 52q 52t 52t 52t 52t 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 718 718 718 718 718 718 71b 71b 71b 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
Poison.
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ig 5ig 5ig 5io 6rn 6rn 6rn 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q4 7q4 7q7 7q7 7q8 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
Nymph Tears for damage on my side (Golden Nymphs hit pretty hard...), or as PC on your side (putting them on whatever towers you have and then rewinding them to deny you quanta and creatures).
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5lc 5lc 5lh 5ro 5rp 5rp 5rp 7k0 7k1 7k1 7k1 7n2 7n2 7n2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q5 7q5 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
...and I also had a Light-Time deck as well.
