Match #1: WIN 1-0
I went with a MitoChargers (one of my favorite decks I had made), he with a MonoGrav with Accels and Armedilgos.

First we had two desyncs, both of in which nils had bad draws. On our third try we kept the connection, and nils had a good draw, but my Gravy Shield screwed up his Armagios. His starting luck didn't last, and he couldn't draw one of his three Momentums in time.
Match #2: WIN 2-0
I used a MonoGrav run off the fire mark, he with Deathstalker. Again he had a great starting draw with several pillars, but my Momentum'd Otyugh quickly took care of his creatures, including his two Deathstalkers. My Fire-eaters meanwhile racked up the attack fairly quickly, but even so it was intensely close -- I finished with 13 HP and a poison counter of 8.

Match #3: WIN 3-0
Lucky matchup on my part. I ran with an Aether/Gravity stall (anticipating Accelerated Armagios or Voodoos), and he with a Gravity/Entropy deck. His Antimatters were useless against my Armagios (I just catted it), and my Lightnings took care of his Chargers. Lobos neutralized his Armagios, and I finished with a comfortable lead.

Match #4: LOSS 3-1
I ran with BBCatas, which I felt had the biggest damage potential out of my Catapult decks I tested.

I had been dreading his use of Accel'd Voodoos (his ban of Voodoo tipped me off), and this was the match it appeared in. Lack of early Wardens compounded with a series of bad decisions (should never have played the Pulvy against a Darkness deck), meant this was an easy win for him.
Match #5: LOSS 3-2
I went with another catapult deck, this time with (I thought) better CC. He ran MonoGravity with Accelerated Mercs and Chargers. I stood no chance -- didn't see a single Squidward the entire game. His last turn Chimera was just icing on the cake.

Match #6: LOSS 3-3
Went with another catapult deck with Eagle's Eye. He used the same deck as before. Bad quanta draw screwed me over, though I probably would've lost anyway -- he got out his Overdriven Chargers out pretty early.

At this point I felt like nils was going to make a comeback girlsgeneration-style and I was going to lose 5-3.
Match #7: WIN 4-3
I went back to using the MonoGrav that I used in Match #2, and it turned out to be a good choice. Faced a Gravity/Air deck with UGs, which according to nils, he improvised. Momentum'd Oty once again saved the day, going on a Nomming spree. Props to nils for making a relatively successful UGrav deck (even on the spot) -- I had tried that myself and couldn't make an efficient enough deck to use.
Match #8: LOSS 4-4
I took a risk and used Vampire Chargers, a deck I hadn't tested very much. It turned out to hurt me, as I had a single-pillar draw whereas nils got pillar flooded. I suspect the deck choice wouldn't have mattered -- nils brought out THE deck I dreaded the most, the GoTP time/gravity deck that he had used in Phase 2 that completely steamrolled me. Even so, not being able to play a single card beyond a lone Stiletto meant this was a quick and easy win for him.

Match #9: LOSS 4-5
I used a Bonewall/Catapult combination, he went with Chargers and Toadfishes. It seems fitting for nils to win his final match with a gravity/water combo...even so, it pretty much was down to the last turn. He had ~30 HP left, and I had 6 quanta -- one short to catapult my last Armagio.

Epic matches. Finally I want to thank nils for being so understanding with my schedule -- with move-in the first day of matches and school starting soon, we had a tough time scheduling matches. But nils was patient even when I had to leave in the middle of our matches.
I'd also like to thank Hyroen, MatrimKK, Numbers, girlsgeneration, and everyone else who supported me in some way throughout the Trials. Special thanks to MatrimKK, who took time out of his schedule to help me with my monoGrav deck. I learned a lot from this experience and I'll definitely come back next Trials. =]
