1st match:
Me can haz heal? vs. the "nearly" perfect counter: Spine Carapace!
Code: [Select]
595 595 595 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 7ae 7an 7an 7an 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2After a couple of desynchs in midgame (I won 1 game vs the AI, Terro won the rest.... a lot of rest) we finally managed to finish a game.
I had quite early a couple of golems and staffs out and Terroking saved up his Quanta. That's what stalled the game quite a while but in the end, RNG just hated him. Of his 4 Shields, he didn't draw any in ~20 cards.
This shows: Even the perfect counter can be beaten, if RNG feels like it.
An absolutely unexpected victory.

2nd match:
Basilisk Catapult vs. the same deck
Code: [Select]
561 561 595 595 595 595 59c 59c 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77f 77f 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78qThis was unexpected to encounter the same deck again, but luckily this one wasn't outmatched as much as the last one.
After the desynchs were over, the same thing as in our previous match happened: RNG hated Terroking. My early Pulvy mashed all his Quanta and he wasn't able to get a hold of the Shield+Enchant. Additionally his creatures were stunned by my nymph and all that was left was clobbering down his healing.

3rd match:
I can haz MOAR heal? vs. Momentumed Black Hole Masher (or something like that)
Code: [Select]
594 594 594 594 59c 59c 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5cg 77c 77c 77e 77e 77e 77e 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2Neither of us had a good hand this time, so it took a while for our games to set up. His BH's slowed me down considerably. His golems were punching me and my staffs (no adrenaline) were giving me little help. Finally Terro drew a Pulvy and mashed my shield, but at the same time I got an adrenaline which was just enough to keep me alive. Another 2 following adrenalines made the match for me.

4th match:
 Mind Trolling! vs. Poseidon
Code: [Select]
55t 55t 55t 55t 595 595 595 595 595 595 59c 59c 5v0 5v0 5v0 5v0 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77cI had a near perfect hand, giving me the possibility to play a 3xBB'ed, Pulled Doll in the 2nd turn, but I didn't. Had to wait until Terro managed to put in ~3 Golems, my shield was adding to his stress as well. His Poseidon came quite late, so it didn't change much. The Nymphs and Squids from his deck didn't show up at all. Anyway, my super powered doll run out of health and left Terro with ~8 HP. RNG seemed to love me and sent me another Pull 2 turns after that.

5th match:
Steal Liquid Golems vs. Mono Eearth rush
Code: [Select]
5up 5up 5up 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 778 778 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77b 77b 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 7tbIn the match that desynced both of us had a terrible draw, giving me an advantage. As Terro said, he ended the fight with my AI and he won by 2 HP.
The rematch was less spectacular. I played a Liquid Golem, he played a golem, 2 antillons and each turn moar. It was over in a flash, I didn't stand a chance.
(my alternate deck for this match would have been: Hoping Golems, see below. But I changed my mind in the last second... my bad)

6th match:
EE based earth bashing vs. Poseidon
Code: [Select]
5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5oi 5oi 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77b 77b 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 78q 7ms 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n5An early Poseidon declined all my quanta and I was left with 2 golems, an EE and ~6 air Quanta. A dragon and some golems were stuck in my hand and I wasn't happy about not having any way of earning :earth . As the game continued, Terro played a shield and my golems suddenly felt like doing no more damage. A played Wing safed me from his sole golem, but the flown Poseidon still reached me.
Luckily, I still had enough quanta from my mark to shoot some squids, so in the end my EE and a unfrozen Golem pulled his health to 0.

Thanks for the matches Terroking! It was very exciting and fun!

Since I thought we would make a couple more matches, I've prepared a load of decks. So my work isn't for naught, here are the unused Decks:

Charging Golems

Good games, Kakerlake, new master of :earth.

I wish these had been a bit more fair in terms of RNG, but there isn't much we can do about that except wait.

Game 1: LOSS 0-1
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 592 592 594 594 594 594 594 594 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 778 778 778 778 778 778 77a 77a 77b 77b 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7aj 7aj 7aj 7ajI chose this deck on the basis that it would be unexpected, and there was very little chance of him using Pulvy or Wings, since he'd used them so much in Trials PvP I would certainly have a counter to both.

Once the game started, I was surprised to see a Life mark from him as well, but once I saw that he had 31 cards it was obvious he was using Adren, and should've been an easy win for me. And, indeed, he animated and Adrenalined a Staff, pretty unexpected, and played some Golems+A Frog. My Shield came out around turn 3-4 though, and ate his Staff in 2 turns, poisoning the rest of the creatures and causing a desync. The next match I had a winning hand with as well, but we deynced earlier this time. After a multitude of desyncs, one of which I had an awful hand (No pends or Shields) in, we finally got to play a game, but I had the same awful hand that didn't give me a Shield even though I was 20 cards down in the deck. When an Adren deck can beat a Thorn stall... All I can say is that RNG had better be saving all my luck for later :/

Game 2: LOSS 0-2
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 592 592 594 594 594 594 594 594 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 778 778 778 778 778 778 77a 77a 77b 77b 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7aj 7aj 7aj 7ajI picked this again on the basis he wouldn't expect it. He didn't, but went with a Pulvy deck that wrecked me. (Even though I could PA my shield, I didn't draw enough Pillars to compete with a 1st turn pulvy smashing them every turn).

Game 3: LOSS 0-3
Code: [Select]
595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 74a 74a 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 74f 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77f 77f 77f 78qYes, a Black Hole deck. From what I'd seen so far he used duos/trios that relied on getting quiock, cheap defense and offense out, BHs were to ruin that.

It actually went very well at the beggining, I pulled 4 Pends, the perfect amount with this deck, and though I didn't start with any I managed to topdeck 2 Golems when I needed them. Played BH to force his discards, but I didn't draw a pulvy to kill his 2 Pends, which would've won the game right there. I got 3-4 Golems out pretty fast that were chipping away at the regen 2 Staves managed to provide, and 15 cards down, I still had no pulvy. I drew a Golem, though, and would've won that turn if he'd not played a Diamond Shield (Or if I'd had Pulv). After that he managed to Adren a Staff, and it was over pretty son after that, since BB doesn't work to stop Staff Regen.
Game 4: LOSS 0-4
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5ib 5ib 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77s 77s 77s 77s 7gp 7gp 7gs 7gs 7gs 7gs 7n2 7n2
No early Trident to kill his Pillars was a bummer, it might've given me a little more chance if I did since he had very few Pillars. I put out the Golems when he used SNova and used a Doll+GP+BB combo on me. He kept using BB, and I kept wishing that i could draw one of my 6 Squids/Nymphs (To stall my own creatures) but it didn't work, and I lost about 15 cards down without getting any.

game 5: WIN 1-4
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58r 58r 58r 6rl 6rl 778 778 778 778 779 779 779 779 779 779 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 8pp

I decided that if I were to go out, I'd damn well be rushing at least one of the games. It also makes things like Pulvy, Steal, and EE pretty useless.

It worked, and although he didn't seem to have the best draw I pumped out 2-3 Antlions and a Golem every turn after that, finishing him off before he could put out a Dagger (I saw one early before we deynced).

Game 6: LOSS 1-5
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5ib 5ib 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77s 77s 77s 77s 7gp 7gp 7gs 7gs 7gs 7gs 7n2 7n2 594 594I was pretty sure he would use his Pulvy deck, and this is one of the better counters to it, even though I don't have EA.

I ended up being wrong, and played against Wings, of course doing it with my only deck without an "In case of Wings" option. Pretty uneventful, he put out a second turn EE that basically doomed me, as I couldn't get rid of it and it prevented me from putting out my Squids/Nymphs to lock down his offense. I put out a Permafrost that froze one of his Golems, but I was already below 30 hp at that point, so EE would wipe me out soon enough that it didn't matter.
All in all, I really should have won games 1, 3, and 4, simply due to how much my deck countered his. Ah well. I had some nice time serving as Master, and I'm definitely not going to leave anyone with this position for long :P
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
