I have a long road ahead of me in preparation for our final battle, so I thought it would be fun to document my training and preparation for our match.

Pretty much hard countered with all the healing and CC Higs had.

Turn 1 fog is OP. waited a turn to evolve grabby and PU x2 because I was afraid Higs had 2 lightnings in hand. Higs only drew 1 lightning, so I easily outrushed.

Got very very lucky. I top-decked 2 of my 3 nymphs and 2 of my 3 quints. Then, discord knocked Higs quanta down to 5, which allowed me to keep 1 HP.

Saw mark of , and I smiled. Hard counters are hard, but RNG only made things worse for higs as she only drew 2 or 3 lightnings and 0 sancs.

Thought she might rush, but instead she hard countered me with purple nymph quint. had I used lightnings instead of SoSa, I would have won.

Took another chance here since she hadn't rushed in a while and I was sick of CC. Could have been very close, but I got good quanta early + 3 dragons + her shield hax failed.

Thought she might stall again, so I thought Grabby PU could easily outrush most of the decks she had. She had poor quanta draw which meant her hand was loaded with SoGs and lightnings. Was only a matter of time til I lost.

Had a feeling she might try vamptal again, and this was a pretty hard counter as long as she fractaled her vamps. I like this deck because it feints miracles, which virtually forces your opponent to try to rush. Higs rightfully suspected SoSa, so she used lightnings and vamptal to knock me below 40. I had 2 SoDs in hand just in case she did that. Chained sundials and SoSa ftw. Had Higs been more patient, she could have won very late.

Life domin, a tribute to willu. It's pretty good, but more than that it completely countered a Damsel duo with early Lobo, Jade Shield, Lightnings and healing. Here is where only one Lightning needs to strike, deuce. That said, 20 of them did definitely strike over the course of this.

FracVamps. As good as always. deuce's Discord hit my from 14 to 5, allowing him to survive with 1 HP for two turns, then stabilise.

Entropy stall was one of my favourite decks, partially because of the pattern that the cards make. It ate a monorush easily since AM's didn't hide forever.

Fractal Crawlers. Permafrost was very powerful in this meta, but a poor quanta draw didn't let me Fractal fast enough. Perma only froze once and I fell for SoSa's.

Changed my Life domin around a bit, which might've made all the difference. This was the one game I had some luck, as my Dragon and Jade kept hitting through deuce's Fog in mid- and late-game, and I drew enough Lightnings and SoG's to outheal his TU Grabbys.

Changed FracVamps. One Fractal drawn at 7 cards left. It was like I was playing mrblonde again.
I'm a bit sad RNG wouldn't let either win some matches by their own effort. Seems it followed me from Master's Tourney. Nonetheless I didn't have the time I needed for this, so I shouldn't win. I probably won't join the next War as real life is insane right now, but I'll fulfil all my forum duties as normal.

Mind you, I'm not sad in general, because the love (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=15484) of my life and I are working towards building a new life together. ^_^
