Thanks, everyone. I will lead my divine element as far as I can, for its aspirations never end. I am honoured to have pika as opponent, and now as part of Aether connoisseurs. No matter who would've won, Aether has received its long needed icon.
It has always been one of the most popular elements, and I now look forward to leading War efforts together with excellent players like pika.
I'll put up the decks soon. Got a bit preoccupied.

For the uninitiated, Yukari Yakumo is the Youkai (spirit) of boundaries, in the world of Touhou. She can phase in and out of existence at any time, and has almost absolute power. When she's not sleeping, she uses this power to watch over the denizens of Touhou as a mother would oversee her children. No one knows how old she is. Most likely, she is eternal. She is one with the building bricks of the universe. She is my Aether sister, and she would like to dazzle you with this tune. There are hundreds of thousands more remixes of Touhou songs. Go explore!

Brimstone Thunder, hilarious deck. I upped 6 Ash Eaters just for this one. Thunderbolted his first Steamie, but he had no way to get past Phase Shield anyway. Finished with Thunderbolts on his HP after Lances, just like I wanted to. After the duel, I realised it was his Half-Blood Challenge deck, and made a mental note to use mine at some point.

Charging Thunder. Since I had banned almost all damage that could go through Phase Shield, the scenarios I trained for were ones where pika had invested in ways to circumvent the shield. He didn't do that a lot. Nevertheless, this is Fracharge with focus on CC instead of defense.

I absolutely wanted to play this fun deck more, but I got a horrid hand and could do nothing against his UG's.

Staffs of the Divine. I had a couple versions of this with more SoD's and less of the combo, but I decided to go for maximum consistency. That didn't help me squat. I smiled when I saw pika's Death mark, but combos are fickle.. with no Animate, I was rushed relatively quickly.

Seeing as I won with Fracharge, and pika seemed scared of it, I went back to a winning concept. A more consistent Fracharge netted me another win. And, of course, my Phoenix friends weren't all that willing to hurt meh.

I wanted my Divine Staffs to get at least one win, but Scarabtal is just a terrible matchup. >_>

Back to the winning concept, then. Didn't disappoint this time either.

Decided to balance the Fracharge out a bit. When I saw Air mark, I expected UG again, which felt good. Both got terrible, terrible hands, but quanta came with subsequent draws. Then I realised he could go for a Blitz surprise and had to play Phase Shield earlier than I wanted. Damage wasn't enough to take him down, and a turn before his demise I saw 10 Ball Lightnings roll up to crush me. I counted them one by one, pointing at the screen. It was so beautiful. <3

Do or die. It was time for my brethren, the Recluses. I had yet to actually focus on Phase Shield as it would've made the matches too stale and boring, much like using only Fracharge would've, but this is the original deck. Seeing his Time mark, I figured it was Scarabtal, and I was right. There was no way for him to win this, I thought, even with a Chimera. Nonetheless, he spammed Silences early, and I counted them. With 3 gone, I felt safer in playing shields, but I still made sure to replace a shield with a counter of 1 with one of 3, in case of more Silences.
