Aw yeah. Even my pal ol' Archon is excited. It takes a lot to make someone so old excited, lemme tell ya. Just look at him, all fire and brimsto- er, thunder and lightning.

I will do this for every single one of the final battles, so... yeah...
pika's bans:
deflag: aether is relatively permanent dependent... they rely on dim shields, they love their lobo, and don't get me started on mindgate, so this is a good choice
immo: this is pretty interesting, perhaps pika is afraid of fractix?
steal: see deflag... this hurts more tho...
devourer: aether is very quanta-hungry, and fractal + devourer is never fun to face regardless
nova: another interesting ban, tho this does close off almost all possibilities of higs using rainbow
discord: aether=protoss in SC, they love their resources (quanta in this game), discord messes quanta up, ban is needed
no bans really suggesting any specific strategies, most of the bans are just generally good against aether

higs's bans:
devourer: see above
steal: see above
deflag: see above
chargers: fractal chargers are annoying and very hard to deal with, not to mention momentum (tho it can be removed with lobo)
fire bolt: dim shield + fire bolts is one of my favorite stalls, I can see why this is banned
titan: charger's momentum can at least be removed, titan on the other hand, can't... aether has no PC, and since deflag and steal are banned on both sides, this titan ban is actually very clever
dim shields seem to be what's on higs mind when she chose her bans (hopefully i got the gender correct)

Silly mistake by me let Higs Thunderbolt away my Steam Machine before I could Quint it. I had no way of stopping her Fahrenheit, since all convenient PC was banned and I wasn't playing Shakar's (for its Voodoo + BB weapon delay combo).

Higs had the perfect pillar/pend split, so my Earthquakes were rather useless as the Chargers dominated.

I passed through her Phase Shields with Gases -- as soon as I played a Firefly, I had enough fuel for one Gas. Thankfully, her Fahrenheit didn't hit the table.

This one was pure luck -- Higs didn't draw a single Animate the entire game. If she did, then I would have TU'ed her Adrenastaves and see whether or not my poison could overcome her healing.

Go big or go home -- this was definitely the lulziest game of them all. Higs had a slow start, while I struggled to get the 9 to Fractal. I was 1 turn away from setting up a win when she played Phase Shield. Oh noes, shutdown. Somehow, I managed to survive for 3 turns and Higs didn't have any more Phase Shields in her hand, so I played and Fractalled out 10 Ball Lightnings and Sky Blitzed for the win. If I included Silences, I may have been able to win sooner if I could pull more quanta.

Higs had the foresight to bring Phase Shields instead of Bone Walls, so I couldn't keep up with the poison counters while she stalled me out. I did have a Chimera in hand, but I didn't get enough quanta to use it for bypassing the shield.

I was almost going to go for Shakar's for its weapon-delaying abilities, but it couldn't counter Fractal Chargers properly, so I went for the Nomnomtal instead.
