Was a little scared to start off with a rush since I left lightnings alone in the bannings, so I went with this. Easy win against Light stall.

Rush vs rush. Dim shield saved the day by buying me the 1 turn I needed.

Fog shield can't blog Psion. Still almost won. Got him down to 1hp, and I had 3 :aether quanta and a spider in hand. -_-

I thought I was gonna win this one, but it wasn't even really that close. Poison doesn't work very well without stalling power.

Tried going back to good ol' CataTitans, but got outrushed. Still might have won if I had played Catapult instead of Titan a few turns before the end, but ah well.

Grats, deuce. Good luck in War!

postponed by an hour or so because UT has to run errands.

Also, reserving this post.

Game 1 - LOSS
Originally wanted to go with PU grabbies, but I thought UT would expect me to rush given my upgrade advantage and my love for MA in master's tourney, so I used this crappy little stall in anticipation of a domin type deck. Unfortunately, UT correctly predicted I would stall, so hard counters are hard.
Spoiler for sancdial stall:

Game 2 - LOSS
Fine, time to rush. MA vs. MA. 1 dim shield is OP. Even without the dim, UT would have won because of cointoss.
Spoiler for MA rush:

Game 3 - WIN
Figured he wouldn't use his 2nd set of dims this early, so lets try rushing again. Saw air mark, and figured wings. Lost cointoss, which was almost the difference in the game. Topdecked psions and PUs, which was good because fog came out early. Then his spiders started catching up. He knocked me down to 1 HP just before I won.
Spoiler for MA rush:

Game 4 - WIN
Time to flip the switch and stall again. Hard countered UT. Even tho UT played a dragon + PU early giving up any chance at OTK, diss shield still would have prevented OTK. (Now 2-2, each with 1 hard counter and 1 RNG win)
Spoiler for entropy stall:

Game 5 - WIN
Time to rush again. Saw death mark and thought I should win this one based on testing. Turned out, I won because of cointoss. Mainly because I topdecked only psions and PUs again.
Spoiler for MA rush:

Game 6 - WIN
Let's keep this flip flop train going. Saw gravy mark and nearly facepalmed because I thought this was catatitan again. I was on edge the entire match because UT was not conceding. 1 titan would screw up everything. Or 2 silences. Luckily, it was straight up PUchargers.
Spoiler for entropy stall:

Game 7 - LOSS
Figured UT would anticipate MA rush and try AM or wings or something. PU grabbies can beat most stalls, and has a chance against MA rush if I win the cointoss. Lost cointoss, figured I lost because of it. Looking at UT's deck, I think PU grabbies had a better chance than I expected, unfortunately for me he topdecked all of his spiders and TUs.

Game 8 - WIN
Spider wings is pretty solid and has a chance against almost anything except catatitan. Gravy mark again...facepalm again. Won cointoss, had 3 spiders and electrocutor in opening had but only 2 pillars. Spiders came out slow, but they were slightly 1 turn ahead of his titans. UT failed to draw a catapult, which allowed me to win by a turn because of cointoss. I really should not have won this game, but RNG determined most of our previous matches, so why not this one too?

ggs UT. I think there were only 3 matches not determined by RNG. This past week was fun with all the smack talk. I'm glad to see you've stayed faithful to aether and didn't follow Sot to the dark side. Your time as aether master is probably not far off. Unless I keep winning wars :P
