first of all i'd like to thank dm, for being a great friend in this community for a long time even before i was a master.
i was already hoping for this battle last trials, where he got kicked out but i'm glad we finaly had them


Game 1: gravity/death vs adrealined guards - lose

i wanted to open with a bit of a fast deck with good defence and went for deathstalkers with a couple of bonewalls and armagios (when armagios get killed, bonewall will be only stronger). dm took a great counter with adrealined guards wich killed my armagio fast and broke trough my wall in the same turn, he also had 2 heals wich almost gave him an EM. 0-1

Game 2: mono gravity vs immolation guards - win

won the coin toss and had a great quanta start so had a second turn armagio and third turn overdrived, dm took immolation and had a fast phoenix and firemaster out. once my damage was going i played a gravity shield (to stop the masters) and i got a dragon out for more damage, i ended up with another armagio wich i GP'd so i'd finish him of with my other 2 creatures. 1-1

Game 3: mono gravity vs buttermagios - lose

i had a fast start and got an early titan with 2 catapults in hand, i thought i'd win it but it seemed that he had a BE armagio wich destroyed the titan and i couldn't play catapults, missing the damage from the titan and having only 2 unupped armagios out made it easy for him and he killed me slowly. at the end i tried to kill him by rushing my second titan with 4 catapults but by the time he had 3 BE armagios and when i launched my 2 armagios he had 3 hp left. he killed me the turn after that. 1-2

Game 4: gravity/time/darkness vs ??? - win

all he played were a couple of gnomes at the start, he got a pend some turns later and had a darkness mark. at the end he played a gargoyle (i ate it with my otyugh) and i rushed him with ghosts and nightmare (he had to discard a ghost). 2-2

Game 5: gravity/time/darkness vs twindrive - win

i had a great draw with 3 novas and nightmares in my hand. at turn 3 i rushed 3 novas to play a ghost with nightmare and repeated that the following 2 turns. he played an overdrived armagio while i had 2 ghosts and an armagio out. i got afraid when he played a dimensional shield but he didn't have quanta to play a second and i killed him the turn when the chain broke. 3-2

Game 6: gravity/time vs the pharaoh's guard - win

expected him to take a counter to my last deck and i was right. he had gravity guards with pharaohs and gravity pulls/black holes. he killed my first ghost but then i played eternity wich did rewind his pharaoh for the rest of the game. he had only 2 scarabs and a guard out so his damage was pretty low and i got 2 ghosts later wich made me outrush him. 4-2

Game 7: water/gravity vs blitzin fatties - lose
took a weird water/gravity semi rush/stall. hoped he'd go for a deck based on small creatures for damage again but he didn't. both of my icebolts didn't freeze his dragons and his sky blitzes broke my armagios. wings didn't allow my toadfishes to attack him and didn't get quanta for dragons. 4-3

Game 8: earth/gravity vs double rainbow
took a solid deck with quanta denial, PC and good damage potential and took a great counter. he took a rainbow (only quantum towers) and his start was slow. i got a fast black hole and earthquake wich totaly blocked his quanta. got an overdrived dragon and a shrieker and getting a second black hole late game sealed the win. 5-3

When in doubt, open with life. Heals kept me safe most of the game, and adrena just steam rolled through bonewall and armagio.

Cremation rush. Graviton Firemaster's 6 HP upgrade actually killed me - If kept un-upped, they'd bypass gravy shield and I'd have won.

When in doubt, use BE armagio. Fighting cata as expected, but a early BE made him stop playing it. He played 2 un-upgraded armagios, then a upped one - Which made me antimatter the elite armagio to get my HP stable. Won with 3 HP due to a last turn 4 cata - 1 gravy shield - 1 titan.

Lost: Game 4 (Darkness, TorB. Yeah, sorry the deck is a fail.)
