Good draw for me meant this outrushed and mitosis graviton guard deck.

The SoP mitosis devourer deck this fought had too slow denial. Fractal was unnecessary because whatever frogs I got were enough to kill.

Discofrog's main weakness is lack of damage amount. While it is often fast if you kill its creatures or have too much defense it will have trouble killing. This was very evident against mathman's poisonstall. The game started out good with me laying out plenty of creatures and discord doing a good job of slowing down mathman's quantum production. As the game went on eventually he played a thorn carapace to go along with his SoGs and stalled with sundials until what creatures I had at the time were dead. Maybe I had a chance by drawing the rest of my creatures and my explosion fast but creatures came too slow and more SoGs made even that hopeless. I forfeited the game before I died of poison.

Just because I can't use graviton guards doesn't mean I can't use a GP rush. I should have split marks with emerald pillars but I wanted to use the marks. This fought some sort of life super nova bow. mathman's deck never really got anything going. Either he got bad draws or my deck countered his hard. This is the only game I remembered to get a screenshot of. Near the beginning of the game I made a mistake of playing mitosis on a giant frog instead of an elite cockatrice because I had plenty of quantum producers.

Fog shield saved him this turn and I dealt the last 4 hp next turn.

This has a really good matchup against the adrenaline puffer fish combo but permafrost plus druidic staff brought my damage to a crawl. The game started out with not enough pillars for me for some time so my damage could have been faster before the permafrost shield was played. Though gravity pull can easily kill a pufferfish, which it did early in the game, mathman saved up combo cards and played two pufferfish with adrenaline plus congeals so that it took me a few turns to kill the pufferfish. The only creature that wasn't frozen (and I had about 9 creatures) after he played the late game combo was a cockatrice which isn't enough to one shot a pufferfish. By the time the pufferfish were dead I had too much poison on me for my druidic staff to handle and I barely lost.

SoR pharaoh doesn't seem to stand much of a chance when frogtal gets an at least fairly good draw. I killed his deck before he had time to build up enough scarabs and start eating my frogs.

This fought mathman's poisonstall. He got a bad hand and draws so my steady damage killed him and I had a steal in case he played a thorn carapace.

Fractal is faster than mitosis. I may have gotten damage out first, but his ramped up quicker than mine could.

A few early frogs out just before i could lock down the damage. could not find ebond or shield to delay the low damage output.

he had an early frog. but I had a thorns and SoG right behind it. His discord delayed me a bit in playing arse and poisons, but I managed to outlast all his damage for the win.

early mito and frog from him. early nova and scorp, but no off-element creatures.
(in hindsight looking at this deck, I should not have changed it last minute. I noticed I did not have enough ups and was not 50% life when I uploaded it into the game from my deck lists, so I added a few upped life cards, but didn't readjust the deck size.)

He had a few early frogs, and I got out 1 puffer+adren. He followed with gpull, so I tossed out my ice shield, and just played the waiting game. once I had enough cards and quanta for playing 2 adren+puffer I froze his not yet frozen creatures to hold off the gpulls. I managed to just barely outlast his damage with a few heals, and some well rng'd freezing from the shield.

fractal came out faster than I could get the pharaoh out. 1-2 more pillars/pends and I could have had the scarabs eating like kings.

could not find thorns or SoG's early enough. he had heavy damage and my few dials and heals only delayed the inevitable.
