In testing this outpaced DANI's fastest possible rush (in my opinion- a 14-upgrade Grabbow). She closed me out stone-cold with one in game 8 last trials. I tested extensively with several decks to outpace the fast rush. This repeatedly did the trick so open with it I did. Turn 1 Vagger was a real difference-maker in a very close finish. 1-0

Pressing the speed advantage I brought the very speedy 22-upgrade Grabbow again for game 2. Had to wait for turn 2 Vagger this time /sarcasm-at-fortunate-RNG... late-game NM gave lethal blow. Nightmare might be heading toward an MVP award from me in this Final.

Presenting a beauty I've used (or built, at the least) for every Trial Final I've been in (statement based on memory recollection
). I see DANI with
Mark too. Hmm, sehr interessant! Then she plays Death Pends... same as I do. A mirror match it is! In this case, I like my chances going second (lost toss) to wait for return fire on NM dueling. That comes to pass and we exchange early NM's with my coming out ahead and having lead plus board-advantage in damage race to win. A late Nightmare (MVP, I'm telling you) and board-damage seals the deal. *whew* up 3-0, now to keep pressing.

I was feeling too one-dimensional rush-rush-rushing so a stall felt in order. In testing, this was able to compete with Grabbow (not as dependable as the outracing of my own Grabbow) but usually came down to getting Skull, not having it destroyed, and having it give a few solid quick-kills to allow a later first-Miracle (i.e. - after a few SoD and/or Sanct(s)). I don't have opening-hand Skull, but do have quanta and all the
stuff necessary if I get a Skull/DPoison/Arse set of topdecks. It was first or second draw -- SKULL SHIELD. Put that down and it insta-bosses early, sits there as a -1 damage shield for a bit, and kills a couple attackers late. Never got destroyed. I was able to time Sanct/SoD/Miracles just-right to delay as well as build some damage to win by damage half-turn prior to my demise. *whew whew*

Alright, established a stall. Now back to some pushing of upgrades hoping to entice a stall-type counter against me. I win toss, have good early quanta (DANI has bad early quanta, again - similar to game 1 I think it was), and get enough damage on the board that NM and the damage finish out in fair order.
