Afdarenty 5 - 2 Hyroen
Good games, and well played. I'll say it one more time: that Graboid deck is a beauty. It forced me away from stalling the latter half of the match and kept me from playing some of the slower decks I had prepared.
Also, 7 games, and 7 decks with Shards from me. Balanced? I'll let you decide.

I had a Shockwave for all his SoFo. Early OE helped with that, too. He couldn't get any damage going - I assume he had Overdrive - so it was a comfortable win.

I was behind for a long time this game, as I didn't draw OE until quite late and had to use a couple of my Shockwaves on his Auburn Nymph. Hyro had a lot of Damsels, EE and two Graboids eating away at my health, but my Fog did an excellent job blocking damage paired with 3 SoG. The tide was steadily swinging further in Hyro's favour, but then I topdecked OE and Jade Shield, which blocked a huge chunk of his damage and forced his Shriekers to burrow. After that I managed to stabilise with the SoG healing.

This was one of my favourite decks in testing. It's very fast and surprisingly consistent, and the SoFr/Adrenaline interaction is a lot of fun. In the game I got an Adrena-Fly out quickly, followed up a Queen and a couple of SoFr. Hyro had a fast draw too, though, with an early Graboid and EE played. The EE snipes my Adrena-Fly, getting through my 2 SoFr, but misses my Firefly the next turn. A Stone Skin for Hyro ends up putting him 2 health outside of my kill range, just enough for him to beat me by a turn.
3-1

I had a pretty good draw, with 2 Damsels and an early EE. My first Sky Dragon puts a lot of pressure on Hyro, and is followed in 2 turns by a second. Sanctuary and SoD from Hyro weren't enough to stem the bleeding, and a 3rd Sky Dragon kills him the turn before he could Miracle. Hyro never drew an Air card here, or a Sundial (though I'm not sure if he was playing Dials).
4-1

I had a great draw here, with two Damsels, EE, 3 SoFr and Dragon all in the top 10. An early Fog for Hyro, which had little effect with all the SoFr I had, and 2 Graboids out quite quickly. My EE forced Hyro to keep his Graboids burrowed, though, and the first Sky Dragon I played was kind enough to Crit through his Fog every turn, so I end up winning by a couple of turns.
4-2

I had fun playing around with SoV when building decks. The Luciferin are there because I wanted a little healing against damage from weapons. My deck could handle creature based rushes quite well, but I had no real way to deal with Deadly Poison. 2 SoV in 16 cards meant I was far, far too slow to win this game - I'd have needed an excellent draw to come out on top.

I had quite a strange draw this game, with 5 Damselflies in my top 10 cards, but very little Life Quanta. Hyro had an early fog, a great quanta draw, and a Golden Nymph which gave him plenty of fuel throughout the game. Played an Epi on a Damsel once my mark gave me 3 quanta, which gave me enough quanta to play two FFQs. I didn't have enough Life quanta to use their abilities, though. The Damsels really bailed me out this game - the damage from them, plus a second Adren very late on a Queen, was enough to win by about a turn.
