We had a discussion about this in chat. KDZ is using an illegal deck here because Mark of Water is not considered to be from 'other' element.
How the card is listed in the game, how it is categorized on the forums, or how it was done in some previous tournament.. all those arguments are irrelevant. Only thing that matters is that Mark cards are basically Pillars of that element, only with a slightly different mechanic. They function like cards that belong to a specific element, they look like cards that belong to a specific element, they are cards that belong to a specific element.
If we did allow Mark cards to be used as 'other', that would give a HUGE advantage to players who have them, because these players could build fake mono decks that are basically duo-decks.
Using an illegal deck doesn't matter here since killsdazombies lost, but for future reference, Mark cards are not considered to be 'other' element. You can still call them 'other' as much as you like, but in PvP events on this forum, they are considered to be the cards of their element, just like the card graphics suggest.
