Now it was ridiculous what I got in our match but I used this same deck versus ak65ala and I ended up using the Elf as CC.
This is half-way true. In the game that it mattered, the elves were used to generate flying creatures to by-pass my wings in an otherwise grounded deck. I did not bring out a single creature till the last turn for you to CC, and then it was your mutated 8/8 phase dragon with devour that was the main problem.
In the other game, he mutated 1 of my dragons into an abomination, removing 5 potential damage, but since I had 1 chicken and 4 frogs, and then the abomination... it didn't matter.
I lose because of a coin toss, I win because of a coin toss. I lose because I cannot draw what I need, I win because I draw exactly what I need. I lose because of a mutated 8/8 flying devouring phase dragon, I win because all his mutations kill his creatures. This game has some randomness to it. Play chess if you don't want to deal with luck, but I don't think we could/would ever want to take the random out of this game.
The thing I am sad about is mine and wizelsnarf's 5th game, I had a better draw and a better start then him (won the coin toss, he said he had a so/so hand, mine was amazing) and a dy-sync happened. That is what I want to see out of this game. I am totally cool being lucky/un-lucky. I
hate having my luck taken from me and I dislike getting a second chance off of a network mistake. But.... that is a different subject for a different time.
May lady luck always be on your side and not your opponents!
