Second game he drew too many pillars and I lanced his grabby/shriekers, stalling enough to win.

Third game I realized he wouldn't pack EQs against me so I took a little more risk with my pillar/pend concentration.  I felt he was likely to do a straight up grabby rush so I switched in some control.  He again drew too many pillars and I managed to rage one shrieker a turn.

GGs, Terro.  If I hadn't drawn a Ruby the first game or if you'd ever found a shield it would've been a different ball game entirely.

kev's ban of BB meant he was obviously going to try to rush, and the best thing I could do was to try and stop it, by stalling or outrushing him. With Immo banned his only shot at a pure rush deck was to go 6x Brimstone 6x Ruby, which I saw coming pretty easy but lost to anyway. I had an ok start, got out both of my Antlions and some Golems before his Dragon came out. After that it was Tower->Tower->Tower->QS. It got really close at the end, I had him at 10 hp and he had me at around 30 with 1 Dragon out. is hand was empty. A Dragon=Win, anything else=loss. He wins.

Probably no PC as well since it'd mean he loses rush vs. rush. Meh draw to start, got out both of the Golems and 2 Shriekers, the latter of which both got Lanced into oblivion. His draw was pretty fail with just 1 Fire mark, but the turn after he showed that his Brimstones more than made up for it. Once again I didn't draw the Shield, and at the point where he was at 32 hp and I was at ~80, my Golems were the only attackers. My draw: Tower. Golems hit. 20 hp. Dragons hit. ~45 hp. My draw: Tower. Golems hit, he plays a Dragon, I lose. Ended up with 10 Towers though, which is fun.

Draw a Tower. He plays a Destroyer+Fire Shield in the next 2 turns, I play a Shrieker. I could have won had all my draws consisted of Shriekers (The next 2) but it was not to be.

How do you think I got so high in CL1 when my only deck was Rainbow and everyone knew it?

The RNG God does not seem to be accepting my offerings these recent months though -_-
