Congrats on the wins, nilsie. The Camstudio recorder for some reason didn't work, and I forgot to get screenshots for the last two games...I'll post the ones I do have and my decks after the phase is over.
Game #1 LOSS
Used a Charger rush with rewinds, was banking on nilsie using a buff-heavy deck like catatitans or accel, but was surprised to see that nilsie had almost the exact same deck but with GoTPs. Outdamaged by a decent margin; his mid-range attackers laughed off my CC.
Game #2 WIN
Used Chargers with Lightning and Lobos. Nilsie used a similar if not the same deck, but this time he got a bad draw, and I outdamaged him with help from a last turn Charger. It was incredibly close, he got out two additional attackers in the last couple of turns and if he had drawn another one, he would've beaten me.
Game #3 LOSS
Pretty intense game again, Nilsie once again got a bad draw but this time recovered great. I went with a Dune Scorp deck which unfortunately couldn't rack up enough damage before he recovered, and even with a Charger to help I couldn't do enough damage before he won. I think we ended the game with him having five Chargers (!). Great recovery indeed.
Game #4 DESYNC
Desync. I went with my deck from Game #2, and he with Discord/BH. He had a great draw, and locked me down pretty early, but we desynced around turn 5 or 6.
Game #5 LOSS
Same decks as Game #4. As intense as Game #3...I got out a Charger before he started his lockdown, he AM'd my first Charger, I Lightning'd it, then he got out a Gravity Nymph. I Lobo'd it before he could use it, then got out a second Charger, which he AM'd again. I used Acceleration this time to try to cancel the effect, but by this time he had done too much damage for me to catch up to.
Overall, it was a great experience. The matches were fun and intense. I actually had doubts about my deckbuilding ability before this but I'm glad that none of my losses were due to bad deck build, but rather RNG or superiority of the opponent's gameplay. Good games nilsie!
