3-0 with the same deck vv

Code: [Select]
55p 55p 55p 55p 55t 55t 55t 55t 55t 55t 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5li 5li 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7k1 7k2 7k2 7la 7la 7la 7la
1.) My deck canceled his perfectly, his Permafrost pissed me off Also his lone Angel and Octopus couldn't kill past my gravity shield and gravity pull.

2.) Second match was a mirror match, my deck had more cards + He lowered my dragons health to 10 | 3. Enough for my Dragon and Glory to murder him.

3.) Last game was SO close. He got 12 poison on me but my dragons and glories killed him, he held two cards in his hand, i could've sworn that one was a miracle and one was a sundial. But it wasn't.

Good games Johann, great deck building skills, good luck vs. Jippy and Dm

Game 1:
Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lc 5lc 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 7gp 7gp 7gp 7gr 7gr 7gr 7ju 7ju 7k2 7k2Blessed Octopus (4|5) could've managed if not for Gravity Pull.

Game 2:
Code: [Select]
55q 55q 55q 55t 55t 55t 560 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5li 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 749 749 749 7jo 7jo 7jq 7ju 7ju 7ju 7juWe made similar mistakes with Gravity Shield/Pull - first he used it to drop my Light Dragon to 12|2, then I used it to drop his Golden Dragon to 10|3.  In both cases, the better tactic would have been to wait for another creature and one-shot.  Given perfect play, Momentum on my side and Morning Glory on his would have been the deciding factors.

Game 3:
Code: [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lf 5lf 5lf 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5rp 5rp 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 5s4 7jt 7jt 7jv 7jv 7jv 7k2 7k2 7q0 7q0 7q0As he said, I failed to draw a Miracle in time, and my deck wasn't built to stall dragons long enough.  Played this in order to bypass his Gravity Shield and hope poison would stack enough.

So there you have it.  Good play and decks on both sides, but someone had to win!  Gravity Pull was a huge factor.

Matchup 1 - Light/Water vs Light/Gravity (...)

I think this is johann's only bad deck these Trials. He just had too little damage to beat through Miracles, and no way to deck the opponent out, which cost him the win.

Matchup 2 - Light/Gravity vs Light/Gravity (wow, how original deck choices!)

I think this is a fair win. 6! Gravity Pulls > 5 creatures. johann didn't have a weapon, so he couldn't damage Ryan until like 50 HP and then drop 3 momentum'd Dragons, so he had small chances of winning, given he had the smaller deck,

Matchup 3 - Light/Time vs Light/Gravity (no kidding)

Lucky win is lucky. However, johann might've been better of with an Eternity instead of the Nymph, but still he got killed by the draw.

Yeah, Eternity wouldn't have mattered, all things being equal - I didn't draw my Nymph.

Still amazed Ryan managed to win so many times with the same deck concept.

It really is a great deck.
Defence: Gravity shield (Blocks any hard hitting light creature.)
CC: Gravity Pull (To kill any creature that Gravity Shield didn't block.)
Attack: 6 dragons (If you have no defense.)
Stall: 4 miracles (Stall capabilities; In case you have defense.)

Over all, this deck is basically 100% win.

Yes, I ran a similar deck, though it was only 30 cards.  Chimera makes a nice touch, too, in case your opponent has a bigger deck with gravity shield.  I'm surprised you didn't bring at least one.  ;)
