These were some awesome games Dragoon. You're every bit the talented PvPer I was told you were. Thanks to you, my nails no longer exist. (Hopefully they'll grow back in time to face Kev, if that is in fact what happens) It was great dueling it out with you and I look forward to meeting in combat again soon, as friends! His Immorush got caught in the crossfire. IIRC, it was still fairly close however. The only thing that saved me was playing my phoenixes as damage and using Bolts soley for CC. Napalm <3 Phoenixes!

I had an epically awesome starting hand and then we desynched (my net lost connection) And on the retry, I only killed off one of his Bonewalls and with 12 turns left, He had another one. Plus probably a ton in his hand. We desynched again so I just surrendered.

I decided to try a new tactic. Looking at this deck you've probably already "wtf'd." Yeah, I wanted to give the illusion that I had Antimatter to prevent Dragoon from playing any creatures. And guess what. It worked! He didn't play a single one the entire game! Because he stalled me with a creatureless deck. But alas, the fact that it was an Immorush vs a Granite Skin stall ended up getting down into the last few turns of the game, but after 2 late game disconnects, we ended up deciding that I would likely have won both, particularly the last one where I had a ridiculous spam of Phoenixes going on. Napalm <3 Phoenixes!

I completely, utterly, and totally failed at making this deck. His immorush was more than a match for this botched job. We desynched a few times, but I just gave him the win because the only possible way I could win was by having the perfect first hand, nothing I could draw in any of the desynchs would turn it around.

Which as it turned out, is exactly what he brought. In the end, 88 Quanta with 4 bolts just wasn't enough. I waited (stupidly) for 99 Quanta and 5 bolts. 108 dmg 1 turn, to 150 the next. Well at least now I know how Bolts work Note: I went 34 cards because I noticed his stall decks seemed to all have 32-33 cards.

[Dragoon]

Well, it took us 2 days meeting 3 different times, but we finally finished all 5 games.  Napalm Grenade was a great and honorable opponent.

Game 1
I won coin toss.  We both had fairly average draws I think.  I was hoping to get a Golem growing before she could do anything about it, but both Golems I played were Bolted immediately.  She ended up beating me by 1 turn with her mono-Fire.

Game 2a
She won coin toss.  She had a killer start emptying her hand and dropping 2 Golems and a Minor Phoenix.  But we DC'd turn 1 or 2 due to a bad connection on her side.

Game 2b
She won coin toss.  Next try she had a slower start, not Immo'ing until 2 or 3 turns in.  I had a slightly low Pillar count, but I had enough to Bolt any Golems she dropped.  After the first Bone Wall went up, it was pretty much over.  We never did finish because of a late game DC, but she gave me the win.

Game 3
She won coin toss.  I was thinking she would go for alternative damage to get around the Bone Walls so I went with my other stall deck that's good against most moderate rush and other stall decks.  Unfortunately, she went with an Immo rush again but with Antimatters (I think).  She rushed me good and hard.  I held her off for quite a while, but then her battery died towards the end of this game.  In the end she would've overrun me though so I gave her the win.

Game 4a
I won coin toss.  I had a great start and she had a lousy one.  I won in 6 turns but unfortunately, we DC'd turn 3 or 4 due to a bad connection on my side I think.

Game 4b
I won coin toss.  I had a slower start, not Immo'ing till turn 2 I think.  She held me at bay through half the game before we DC'd again.  : \

Game 4c
She won coin toss.  I had a good start again dropping 2 Golems turn 1.  Then she bolted both Golems the next turn.    But I eventually got enough creatures to overrun her.  We did DC again, but we decided to play through with the AIs.  Both my AI and I won against her and her AI.  She gave me the win.

Game 5
She won coin toss.  I struggled with which deck to go for.  But with her leanings toward rush decks, I went with my stall deck.  Unfortunately, she also went with a stall deck.  I got an early Fahrenheit which helped but she got a complete pillar opening hand which was great for her since I had no creatures.  In the end, she Lanced me to death.

I started off with about a dozen decks that I slowly filtered down to the best 5 decks (2 rushes, 1 mid, 2 controls) plus their variations depending on the situation.  My mid deck that I never played was this (RTs could be replaced with BBs):

noticed the entropy mark trick, and want to comment on that a bit.
A while ago (when I first started PvP), I thought about using wrong marks and tricking my opponent into doing things he wouldn't normally do. It failed (mainly because I was a novice at the game, and had no idea what would scare my opponents), and I never thought about it again, until now...
