Ugh... congrats on your win Belthazar, but now we have to do a tiebreaker... ???
(Sidenote - I completely forgot what I used in match 1, but I'm going on a limb here and saying that I used a certain deck based on Belthazar's description. Oops.
)
Match 1: Win
5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rs 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q8 7q8 7qc 7qc 7ri 7ri
"Heavy" PC-CC deck didn't really do much as I thought, since he wasn't packing Dimensional Shields (boo to that). I did destroy his early Procrastination, so my Pharaoh managed to stop being delayed and started pumping out 2|N Scarabs (I got the non-upgraded one in my hand). My Rage Potions never came up, but I couldn't use them anyway due to his Immortal Anubis that finally got out. I always keep thinking that I'm going up against an
stall during these match-ups...
Match 2: Win
592 593 593 593 593 595 595 595 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rk 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q6 7q6 7q6 7q8 7qc 7qc
My luck carried me through this one. I'm grateful that I got my -only- shield up to help delay his immortality tactic, but it was close. My earthquakes and well-timed Basilisk Bloods helped me get through the worst of the situation.
Match 3: Lose
5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rs 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q8 7q8 7qc 7qc 7ri 7ri
Not enough CC for this one. His Frogs whittled me down - a Rain of Fire would have done them all in, while the Rage Potions could have been saved for his dragons. I think I managed to destroy his Procrastination here as well, but all in all, he drew his heals early, making it impossible for me to out rush him with Scarabs.
Match 4:
560 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rj 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rr 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q8 7q8 7qc 7qc 7qc 7ri 7ri
Terrible deck is terrible - I don't know why I threw that Chimera in due to the fact that it was so easily punished by a simple Rewind. I guess I was thinking that in case he had Gravity or Phase Shield up his sleeve, it could have been used as a last resort, but with Eternity around and no Hourglasses, Chimera was practically useless.
Match 5:
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 74a 74a 74a 74a 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q8 7q8
*cries*
To sum up the outcome: He had 11 neurotoxin counters & 1 HP when I ended my last turn. He still beat me since I didn't draw my fourth Unstoppable. *sigh*
Very fun and intense games Belthazar666. Looks like we might have to go for a tiebreaker now... T_T
