Excuse the late response everyone. After losing to a complete newbie in the tournament in the first round, losing to icb 3-1, and then losing to pikachufan 3-0, I figured I could use a little break from Elements. Thus, please excuse any mistakes since I'm recalling all of the duels that took place about twelve hours ago.
Game 1 - (Lost)
I tried to TU my Chargers, but I didn't ever draw the TU's... or the Chargers; I had a whole bunch of quanta though. He out-damaged my few Chargers with a nicely-timed Fractal, and I lost from there.
Game 2 - (Lost)
I think I went Cremation + Crimson Dragon + TU. This normally works great, except it was a
mirror match, even to the total amount of cards we had in the deck (33). He had the better draw.
Game 3 - (Won)
I went Fractal Pest/Vampire, similar to one of our successful War decks from Aether. Unfortunately, I didn't draw a single Pest until after I Fractal'd and played about seven Vampires, and the game was won at that point.
Game 4 - (Lost)
I used the same deck as Game 3, just in case we went for his Game 1 deck again. Things were looking great for a while. I had no Pest (again) but I did Fractal Vampires and had quite a few out, out-damaging his Phase Recluses. Well after my moral boost, he Fractals a unique 5|0 creature for the win, and my loss. Ouch.
GG icecoldbro, I can only blame so much on bad luck. You just plain outplayed me deck-wise.
