Wow... such a great match up. Thank you 10 men for the games. We alternated wins and losses every games. Also i think i won like the first 6 or 7 tosses or so.

Match 1

Game 1 (L) - Tried to surprise 10men this game with my silence deck. Doesn't help that i'm an antsy noob though. Didn't pull any of my pends and i had 4 silences in my hand but started to chain with 3 aether quanta in hand. if i had waited one more turn i could have chained 3 silences and would have likely won since i had lost by 1 turn. But my chain broke and 10men holy flashed my poor recluses for the win. So naturally i'm kicking myself here because i know i screwed this game up.

Game 2 (W) - This game was really tight. I did not draw any of my dims in my hand and couldn't pull any. What made this worse was he managed to get an eternity out and rewinded both of my recluses. He also had dims in his deck which he played to stave off my damage. Fortunately poison does it's job and i was able to pull a dim in time to hold him off.

Game 3 (L) - Was expecting GoTP this game but it actually was a water mark deck. I am assuming purifies but he never was able to play them. Because of the mark i ended up losing because i ended up being a noob again. I held a poison in my hand for most of the game waiting for that purify to come. Anyhow i ended up losing with 10 men having 1 hp. There were so many cards i could have pulled to win on my last turn (BW, Dragon, poison, dial) but it was not to be and my error slapped me in my face.

Game 4 (W) - Went with the noizy dial again. 10 men went with his holy flash mono time deck again (i think) and this game played out well and i was able to poison him to death and just sit back behind my dials and bone walls. At this point i was really kicking myself because of games 1 and 3 as you can't give players like 10 men any room for error.

Game 5 (L) - I could not make up my mind on this game. First decided to go with my wings deck but then changed my mind since i've seen scarabs, and dragons. Also those Holy flashes would burn down my recluses. So i decided to go with darkness dominion hoping he would go dims. Anyhow without my poisons it turned out to be a bad choice. Never saw a nightmare but in reality this deck didn't have much of a chance.

Match 2

Game 1 (W) - So with Match 1 done i decided lets go for broke and use a fast deck and went with speed poison. 10 men went mono time and although i didn't draw a physalia i still won in 6 turns. Quick deck this is.

Game 2 (L) - Decided to go with another rush deck here and ohhhhhhh so close. I lost by 1 turn here and if 10 men hadn't have been able to play that darn silurian dragon i would have won. I had 34 HP left and he had 2 GoTP (18 dmg), and a long sword out (6 dmg). He also only had 11 time quanta so he had to have pulled a pillar to just get enough quanta to play it. A GoTP would have been 33 dmg so just enough for me to survive and win.

Game 3 (W) - I think this is the first game 10 men won a toss, lol. Anyhow this basically just came down to me being able to pull 2 dims. Since he went monotime once i was able to defray the damage with my shields my poison and recluses did it's work. Didn't pull my fractal and really i'm not sure if another dim just wouldn't be better.

Game 4 (L) - Decided to test my luck with Speed Poison again. 10 men finally unveiled his GoTP/nightmare deck. Basically not a great matchup here for me but i ended up losing the turn before he would die. I know you aren't supposed to play all your cards vs nightmare but with this deck my only hope was to kill him real quick and hope he doesn't pull a nightmare. Almost worked as he pulled it the turn before i was going to kill him.

Game 5 - (win) - now i really had to think here. My best deck vs GoTP/Nightmare is my dial deck. Would 10 men really play it against me 2 times in a row? Ultimately i decided that the only deck it would do really bad against would be a purify deck and even then i might be able to win.

Fortunately for me he did indeed go Ghostmare. Unfortunately for me i had a 1 pillar draw. So i started extremely slow and instead of playing my arsenic in hand i decided to just use my poisons. 10 men then stole my 2nd pillar to put me back at 1 to slow my trickling quanta. With his steal gone i played my arsenic feeling i had a good chance of him not pulling his 2nd one so played my arsenic. Unfortunately 10 men did and i was cursing the RNG gods as i knew i was in trouble now as my beloved arse flew to the other side of the field. I had another arse in hand so i sent him out as soon as i could and then the unimaginable happened.... he had a 3rd STEAL! This was a crushing blow and i felt that at this point i was dead. Anyhow my final screen. I topdecked my last arsenic and at the time i thought that was the only card in the deck i could pull to win. But now that i'm looking at it the other poison i had in my hand would have worked as well.

Great games 10men, it was a pleasure and just want to wish you the best of luck in your trials. No desyncs, no terrible RNG by both sides (i think) and basically a great final battle IMO.

Great games GrandmrBlonde :)

First Game:

Fairly easy game vs Silence Rush, you didn't misplay there because if you hadn't played that first Silence I could have Flashed the Recluse immediately.

Second game:

6rc 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q6 7q8 7q8 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80i 8ps

DimShield Poison is one of the decks I just can't beat without a very specific counter. In this case I was hoping for a more conventional rush.

Third game:

Deck import code : [Select]
6rc 6rk 6rk 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7q6 7qa 7qc 7qc 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 8pp

I couldn't use the Congeals as he had no creatures, but fortunately I had a very fast draw and outrushed his Poisondial by one HP.

Fourth game:

Deck import code : [Select]
6rc 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q6 7q8 7q8 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80i 8ps

Poisondial is pretty similar to DimShield Poison, got to send my Ghostal in another suicide matchup.

Fifth game:

Deck import code : [Select]
6rc 6rk 6rk 7js 7js 7js 7js 7js 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q6 7qc 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 8ps

Normal rushes - Semirushes I can handle pretty well.

Sixth game:

Or so you'd think, but against his Water rush I didn't draw any Holy Flashes while he was very fast with only Pillars Recluses and Arsenic and since he went first he just killed me in 6 turns.

Seventh game:

Deck import code : [Select]
6rc 6rk 6rk 7js 7js 7js 7js 7js 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q6 7qc 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 8ps

Lucky win, this time I stopped a little of his offense and then had just enough damage with my Dragon and Pillar off the top for the win.

Eighth game:

6rc 6rk 6rk 7js 7js 7js 7js 7js 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q6 7qc 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 8ps

No chance vs DimShield Poison.

Nineth game:

Close race against his Water-Poison, drew my Nightmare just in the right turn to win.

Last game:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6rc 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q5 7q5 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7qe 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7t9 7t9 7t9 7t9 7th 7th 8pt

He had only one pillar one turn one, but despite my best efforts to kill his quanta production by stealing one and Nightmareing twice, he still got just enough quanta in the end.

woooowww 4 steals... no wonder. Nice decks 10 men and i'm lucky i decided to not go with DimFrax on the last game as it would have been crushed. I had a few more decks prepped for you and actually i'm pretty disappointed that i forgot to use my poisonbolt (deck code was in a different column for another matchup) considering you never used purify. Also had a panda, wings, explosion, and bonebolt deck but out of those likely only the bonebolt and the the poisonbolt would have had chances to win.

Looking at your 3rd deck i really have to slap myself on the head. Very nice.. that mark tricked me so bad.. never considered congeals.

Anyhow thanks again for the matches and consider it a great accomplishment to have won thistourney against such great players.
