While luck did have a role in these matches, I honestly think that perhaps my decks were off.
Match 1:
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rm 5rm 5rn 5rn 5rn 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 61o 61o 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q8 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80g 80g
Poor deck that I was actually in the process of still "building" until I realized that I probably wouldn't have that much time this week (school is starting) to actually face Spike and the rest of the players. I had no
quanta in hand, so by the time I could get a shield out, the Neurotoxin was already afflicted.
Match 2:
5og 5og 5op 5op 5op 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rr 5rr 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7ri 7ri 7ri
SpikeSpiegel summed it up nicely - high amounts of both types of quanta is a failure against Discord. I never got the chance to play Sky Blitz in my hand (not that it would matter, as he had Antimatters anyway).
Match 3:
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 5v8 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q5 7q8 7q8 7qc 7qc 7qc 7t6
Relative mirror match, but his unupped Steals (and the fact that he had all 3 in his early draws) sealed the perfect win for him. Luckily I guessed that he was going to use
against me, but my deck clearly had no chance.
Good games Spike. I guess I should have started thinking about this earlier and slimmed everything down...
