Even after all my problems in chat, I think I've had a lot of fun today.

patch had said he would use golden nymphs in his first match - I was very pleased to see it was true, as it meant he couldn't have anything to get past dim shields. I let his creatures push me down and started chaining with exactly 50 HP left. After discarding ice shields I took down some of HP with bolts and the majority with dragons.

The diea here was to fake him out by using the same mark and a totally different deck. He played quantum pillars, which didn't surprise me in itself, but he played a larger amount early than I would have expected. Meanwhile I wasn't drawing the pillars needed to rush him out. He drew both his shriekers in the first 6-7 turns, and barely out-damaged me.
Game 3 (LOSS):

I saw death mark and was hoping for another more unorthdox deck, but he dropped poison early and creatures afterwards. I rewinded all the creatures I could, but when I had none left his creatures brought my health low enough for the poison to finish me off.

I got an easy third turn discord and held off his cards for a good while. In the meantime my creatures beat him down before his squid could stall enough and before he got out a trident. This game sadly wasn't close at really any point because discord left him hanging.

RNG had fun here. I drew one of each quanta source in my opening hand. Even so I got out a trident early, but ended up using my earth quanta to delay his creatures instead. It dragged on like this for quite a while until my first two BBs ran out, and I didn't have the quanta to play the damage I needed. I did draw all three tridents and the lone flooding in 14 cards.
