This was a very interesting match. He got a squid early and I followed up with a discord. My damage output was slow for a good while. Then I realized I could BE his squid and did as such, and he promptly Readied it and destroy my discord. At that point he began to catch up, but a few further discords and more creatures beat him down.

I was surprised when I saw light mark, and was hoping he had gone with a bolt stall instead. Unfortunately he didn't, and my deck was built more around defense while his had much more offense. An early morning star as well as a higher creature density for him sealed my fate.

Poison-Bolt, wadurr style. RNG had a fun time here, giving me both my lone pend and lone upped poison in 10 cards. I quickly got an SoR'ed Squid and further squids to hold down his offense long enough for the poison to kick in. Soon he got out a discord, but I bolted him and froze it twice

I facepalmed upon seeing earth mark, and I held back one pend just in case. I then destroyed his trident and started playing him steamies, but he got another trident and plenty of squids. At this point there honestly wasn't much I could do. Even when I had one unfrozen steamie at all times my damage was minimal.

This was my last-ditch effort, with only two true weaknesses - neither of which I expected to see from either of the other challengers. I almost knocked my water over upon seeing darkness mark. Drawing 1 creature, no tridents, and all 6 EQ's in the top half of my deck didn't help either.
