i hate air. should have lost 0-3. Only 2 games i won were to jenkar derping and cointoss.

Game 1 - LOSS
Expected sanc stall since it destroys almost every MA, so I figured this was my best bet while keeping options open later in the match. But 4 dragons hid in bottom 5 cards. Jenkar has advantage here, but his deck is fat and early dragons can troll him hard.

Game 2 - LOSS
Expected UGs and damsels, so played upped reflect. I quantafail, and he topdecks 5 damsels and 2 nymphs...

Game 3 - WIN
At this point, I feel i have no chance of beating anything he has, so screw it. First thing jenk says is sosac? Then he plays like a nub and fields more than 20 attack. Easy win after that.

Game 4 - WIN
Haven't rushed yet, so why not now. Won toss, and that was pretty much the difference in the game. Topdecked my lobo and used it on his 3 damsels, which slowed him down. If he won cointoss, he likely would have beaten me.

Game 5 - LOSS by 1 HP...
Was going to use discord and/or AMs, but convinced myself out of it after thinking for 30 min. Decided to use MA rush again as it has a chance against just about anything. Won toss and saw dark mark. Had good quanta and a couple psions in hand, I thought this was gg since his steals were basically dead. Per usual, 3 damsels turn 1 plus some pills/pends. Dragons came out fast for him. I PU his dragons, but I fall short by 1 HP. Had i drawn a creature instead of PU, i could have played lobo and a creature ftw; or if i had a spider in my initial hand rather than a psion...

I think you are using the term "mindgate" incorrectly...

in fact, most of the matchups were 50/50 with game 2 favoring jenk and game 4 favoring me.

Well done Mindgating the element of Mindgate, Jenkar.
3-2 with the last game lost by 1 HP, yeah, mindgate :D
If Jenkar knew the exact deck, he would have won with a wider margin, aether isn't THAT strong that a mindgate can only result in a tight 3-2.
