Explaining my bans: Seeing as how entropy is so close to gravy, I knew he was planning dischole. Since I have no reliable counter to dischole without sanct and I knew he'd ban sanct, I'd have to ban discord. I also really hate catatitans. Catatitans is deadly and can wreck me, so I banned flying weapon. That's where I really made my mistake. I should have been better off banning titan. As for my third ban, I originally said Oty, but since I can't ban creatures, I just blurted out acceleration. I really should have banned titan.
Seeing his bans: Deflag-meh. Less PC for me. I can still outrush him. Sanctuary-A bit annoying since I can't use firestall, but not too bad. Can't remember his third ban. Wasn't that important. Oh wait no, I remember, it was UG. I wasn't going to use UG anyway!
Matches: I knew he'd go entropy first, but with me banning discord, he might go for mono gravy. I chose bloody birds because it was a decent enough deck to counter entropy/gravy as well as mono. Using earth also lets me get better elements. When I saw the entropy mark, I was a bit cautious since I was wary of antimatter, so I always had a BB to freeze my own phoenixes if need be. I eventually saw his abomination duo, and banked on the chance that his deck was a pure rush. It was, and I was able to win with 1 hp.

The problem with bloody birds was that it was designed for last trial's meta. He said he banned deflag and I didn't pay attention when I loaded up the code. It's a shame too, since no deflags were even used or contributed to the game. I only noticed after the match and notified laxadarap about this.
For the second match, I knew he was going to bring out something horrible, so I wanted to "throw" the match and use water so I could get some better elements as well as hoping my salad tossed rush could win. I'll name it symphony in blue and red, improvisation 56 performance art cacophonous crimson and azure: synthesis tribute to art because it uses phoenix and toadfish. I can't remember what laxa used, but apparently the notes said that I lost due to RNG. I think he used mono gravy. Oh wait, no. He used dark/gravy. He had a 1 pend draw, but duck shield is too OP

I didn't ban bonerwall for a reason; I knew laxadarap would use it, and I knew I hated it, and I knew he knew I hated it. I was counting on him to use death so he would use bonerwall, and for that, I prepared the perfect counter to it and otys.

I've always really liked Napalm's sundial fire deck so I used that. Light mark can be used to freak laxa out for the first turn, and this deck just counters his (although it was a mistake to play a fahren when he had a boner up). Conclusion: I drew enough to bolt through his boner and he DIEALED. Dial fire for death or some bad pun like that.
During the past games I saw laxa using gravitons a lot. This is surprising since honey charger is OP, although gravitons are by no means bad. Knowing he'd use gravitons a lot, I decided to pack my least favorite card against him hoping it'd work. It did.

Here's psionic flamestorm, or some silly name like that. Rage pots killed his creatures and even his GPulls couldn't do enough CC since phoenixes can resurrect. The biggest game changer here was dim shield. Just blocked all his attacks.
I thought I'd do the above again, using wings to troll his gravitons. I even packed rage pots to kill otys that might want to eat my phoenixes.

I saw his light mark and was a bit relieved because it might be a stall, but NOPE NOPE NOPE. OTYS. SADERS. TITANS. Every single combo that could counter me did, and he got some spectacular topdecks. It was really my fault to think that by banning AW I wouldn't see titan. In conclusion, screw your tits laxa. Screw your tits and boners.
Blah. Gravy was bad. Gravy is probably the worst element for fire to go up against in that it is really resilient (creatures can shrug off fire bolts easily), has decent CC (GP and oty basically kill everything), and it can stallbreak too. Maybe I could have done better just by going mono fire every game >___>
