Ahhh. Finally done. This has been an interesting phase. All my matches ended 3-2, if it was in my favor or not is another thing.

Game 1

4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 594 594 594 594 594 594 595 595 595 596 596 596 596 5cq 5cq 5cq 5cq 6rk 6rk 77c 77c 77c 77l 77l 77l 8pn

Lost by 1 turn pretty annoying, but since I got a super draw and Jen-i average it was fair. In other words his deck was better than mine.

Game 2

This deck was my big winner this 7# trials round 2. It is strong and is packed with CC. I won fairly easy.

Game 3

Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 4tb 4tb 4tb 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58r 58r 58r 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5oi 5oi 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 8pr

I found out that he didn't have any Pc so this deck was perfect, it was also a lucky counter.

Game 4

Deck import code : [Select]

Predicted something else.  But even if the deck aren't bad it aren't so good either. The reason I played it is because the next deck I can play is great.

My second best deck I think. Jen-i got a pretty bad draw and got countered at the same time:( sorry for that.

After the final match Jen-i ask me about a deck where I used several elements in the same game. Apparently Jen-i had misread the rules:( and in the whole thing so far he has thought you could only us 1 element that is connected to your pushed through element. I'm sorry Jen-i!

At last I want to say thank you to all my opponents you all played well good games!

A less than average draw met quickly by two wardens made for a very long drawn out game. I won a turn before his Long Sword alone would have killed me

He got out two wardens and a squid on like turn 3 and shut down any chance I had of locking his board - I was very impressed by his deck. And while I think I could have beat it on a great draw on anything less it likely ends my game. Great Deck Blacksmith!

Foolish Jen - I said right before the match - I'm playing grabbow he's playing wings. Bah! - Be a man! Play Grabbow anyways. I guess that makes me a stupid man! Add to that the fact that I got a horrid draw and I stood no chance in this game, not that I much of one to start with.

Well I changed the deck at the last minute and removed the Phase Shields - looks like I'm full of fail choices in this match.

I have now seen this reports at least twice:
had misread the rules:( and in the whole thing so far he has thought you could only us 1 element that is connected to your pushed through element.

For those with duels still remaining, pay particular attention to this snippet/example from the main challenger battle rules section:

  • If you are trialing for fire, and for the first game you use earth and light. Next game you can either have available Air/Gravity/Life/Water (Pushing through earth) or Air/Gravity/Darkness (Pushing through light)/.
  • If you are trialing for fire, and you use earth, air, light, and gravity all in your first game, you may push through one of them.

ONLY the pushing through is limited to one element after each match (from any used elements in any game that match) - the next deck may use any, all, or an in-between quantity of elements requiring only the 50% minimum of your own Trial element.

Hopefully word gets around and some more planning can be done by anyone else misinterpreting this piece of the rules! :o

My misunderstanding was that you are allowed to push through one element, to both of the connecting elements.

I had thought that you had to choose which element you gained when you pushed through it, not that both elements were now open to you.
