Perfect mind gate. Expected the otyugh game 1 and I got it. He had sopa but the upgraded towers gave me tons of early quanta to get over 10 fire quanta to bolt the first otyugh. From there I got out my seraphs and it was kinda of game over.

What can I say? Is this a meme deck or a perfectly built deck to counter gravity in this format? Wanted to really push the limit of these rules by not using a single fire card. Worked amazingly. 6 hp gavel to counter otyugh, lack of any permanents outside of QPs (if I choose to play them) to avoid feeding SoFo, and relics for upgrades AND removing quanta in case of black hole. Believe it or not, I actually used relic to reduce all my quanta and nullify all his black holes. Turns out discord and black hole are useless if you don’t have or need quanta (aka I can just use nova the turn I need it to pump out several cards and then relic to remove excess). So yeah, not a meme, just a dream come true. Feel free to give me the mastership title now.
G3 I tried to pull a control deck like kaempf and paid the price

I started to throw here. Should’ve stuck to my guts and gone immolation but I expected otyugh/charger again and got wrecked by mercs.

The funniest thing is I went back and forth for a couple minutes before the match started deciding whether or not to add in fire shield. It’s a shame I didn’t. The bigger issue was getting a two pillar start. Lost the game by 1 turn because I was 1 quanta short of being able to bolt an adrenaline charger. Even funnier, that turn I drew a mark of fire instead of one of my other 12 upgraded pillars, which would’ve won me the game. I think my deck was favored but I still should’ve teched in the fire shield for an even greater edge especially knowing the remaining elements.

I was feeling a bit stressed now. I was running low on the elements I needed to hard counter gravity. I knew I was going to face dark domin or fractal mercs. Teched in skull shield for the latter. Used poison to dodge any cc or shields and bolt/deflag to slow down the opponent. Managed to slow down just enough. Insig got out a turn 2 improved dusk that of course had to block my arsenic 5/6 times until he stole it. Also got out a turn 3 vagger and I didn’t draw a deflag for another 3 turns. Fire bolts and deadly poison proved victorious though with the help of some slightly below average draws for Insig.
