I prepped for two specific decks in this matchup. One was the graboid/EQ/rewind deck and the immortal. After a bit of testing i came to the conclusion that the two decks i used were the best options to counter his decks. I also made a wings deck but i did not need to use it. Might as well post these decks because against Torb i will have to use different ones.

As i hoped Kaker used the graboid deck. Once i saw the mark i knew that i had to hold back the recluses in my hand, played my pillars/pends carefully and just let my poisons and arsenic do the work until i could drop my recluses for a final blow. I pulled 2 of my bonewalls which staved off kakers grabby's and he couldn't bust through in time. I actually have no idea if he had rewinds in there.

I was expecting the immortal or some deck with shields so changed over to this. What i got was very unexpected and very fortunate for me. Kaker got a horrible draw and i didn't know what he was using until after the match. Kaker had an earth mark and used quantum pillars. He managed to drop 5 graboids by the end but he never managed to get any time quanta (i had bonewalls in hand) before he died. Afterwords he told me he had gravity pulled voodoo's. With a bit of better quanta dispersion he might have been okay. His deck really was RNG dependent though.

Back to mono-death. I saw a firemark and pretty much figured this was going to be a deck with deflags and firestorms. Before i played a recluse i made sure to play my bonewall first even though it meant delaying it for a turn. After i dropped 2 recluses and held one back in my hand and waited while his golems tried to burst through my shield. I think Kaker pulled the button on the firestorm a bit to early as my wall was at 2. I guess he decided he could not afford to take the 12 damage from that turn. Anyways after he killed them off i dropped my other recluse and with 6 poison counters and the final recluse i was able to finish him off in a few more turns.
Good games Kaker, thanks! Now off to face Torb....
