Game 1: I used my first deck and had a great starting hand. Able to get enough damage out to finish him off before I was in too much danger.

Game 2: Kept the same deck and didn't let him get a decent sized creature out for long enough for me to get the win.

Game 3: Since my deck hadn't lost yet, I kept it and paid the price. He had a nice counter with a perfect hand, while I had only one pend for the first 4 turns. Easy win for him.

Game 4: Changed decks while he kept his winner. I thought I had the game in the bag when he brought out a surprise Dim Shield. -_- So close!

Game 5: Went back to my first deck with a slight modification, though it ended up not being necessary as I was able to get a bunch of damage out pretty quickly.

Great games UTAlan!
game 1, he used tons of Eq on my precious pillars/pends, while I think I draw all my pends 1st having no pillars at all to balance quanta and force him to eq both.  Result, it took forever to made a fractal and it was too late by then.

Game 2, I went with quinted fire spiritsthininking those dont' need much quanta to work so if he is to come back with EQ, I should be fine... well I wasn't!  He had a couple of eq again  and I was still not drawing my pillars, only pends again!  I mange to put a couple of fire spirits still, but they we're too slow to grow to be a real threat.

game 3 and 4
I won both times.  since he went with his EQ deck the 1st two times and won I was pretty sure he'd be back with it again and he was for game 3.  My dev got fractal real fast in game 3 so he was left quanta less and he couldnt EQ me anymore.

In game 4, he came with a fractal scarab, but he never put any gravity quanta on the board so he wasn't much a threat.  Nevertheless, he made tons of damage with em and almost went with the win.

I was pretty sure he'd be back with his EQ deck so I added another pillar and pendulum to prevent the effect of em.   But I ended up having a horrid hand even having predicted his deck right.  He got out with the win.
