Even though the match was 3-2, the individual games weren't that close - it was all about decking, counterdecking, and counter-counterdecking. Best of luck to you, n00b, in future matches!
Game 1:
Clumsy Crusaders vs.
Discord/BH (Loss)
We had the same idea in game 1: Use discord to mess up the likely duos and trios. This isn't a bad deck, but Discord/BH is better. n00b played a Discord on turn 3 to stop me from playing much, and I never really recovered. Lost about 30-0.
Game 2:
Mono-Light vs.
PA Gravy Shield (Loss)
You can tell just looking at the deck how this one was going to turn out. My only hope was an early Morning Star, and I didn't draw one. Lost frighteningly.
Game 3:
RoL-Hope vs.
Bone Wall Otyugh (Win)
I told n00b I might use RoL-Hope and then completely surprised him by playing... RoL-Hope. His Otyughs might have stood a chance if I hadn't had a turn 2 Lobotomizer. I imagine the lack of poison didn't help much either.
Game 4:
500 HP Deckout vs.
FractaGuardsWhen I saw the mark I immediately thought FractaChargers, which eats this deck for breakfast. Instead, this was the board by turn 3:
Game 5:
Poisoned Crusaders vs.
Gravy Shield Stall Decided to play the one deck I'd never tested. n00b would have had a good shot with early EQ or pulvy, but instead I had plenty of time to add damage with my Arsenic even with my Crusaders being blocked. To be fair, the RNG skewed both ways on this one - I didn't draw a Poison until 11 cards left.
Again, good games n00b and best of luck to you in the future.
