TRIALS - Challenge a Master, Become a Master

is this going to be discussed, or should i start building the same stupid decks, we know from last trials and war, again? (which will take me 15mins)

i know sg is very busy, but, this would be nice to know before anyone starts to build decks, etc.

Have you discussed this with any of the other Masters?

If you decide on an official rule you would like to put through it might be easier for SG to implement.

If you want to talk it out with the world, start a poll in the General section and see if it gets a positive response.
Personally I like the idea of limitations/restrictions as long as all of the candidates and the Master all have the same rules.

I would definitely vote for the trials having restrictions. This certainly would force masters and challengers to be creative in the decks they create as Antagon suggested. During my trials i completely forgot about using Fractal and used 7 different decks to win the title. This certainly gave me a sense of accomplishment that i wouldn't have if i had just used one or two different decks to win (of course this is only my opinion so i'm not knocking anyone who did use 1-2 decks).

Yes i agree that cards should be limited by master. Gives them some sort of home-field advantage.

Ahh ok i though there was some time to test decks and stuff. Then i realized now is that time .

NOOOO!!!!! I love this idea but I already know whats going to be banned.... I've been working on decks for almost a week and I have about 10 and most will have to be rebuilt if Zeru takes out (card) [in case I'm wrong I didn't name the card]

PLEASE take out Fractal in the Darkness trial. God, I don't want to use, and play against, Fractal Devourer and Vampire decks over and over and over and over again.

Will that affect entropy trials?  For example if I was going to use a fractal Werewolf deck would I not be able to use fractal if the Master of Aether banned it?

Why would it affect the Entropy Trial if we decide to ban Fractal only within the Darkness Trial? We need to be versatile here.

There was talk of if Antagon banned Immolation all trials banned Immolations... etc.

im speaking of 2 different systems.

first one that every master could ban a single card of his OWN element from HIS trials. (so master of darkness could band devourers, for example)

2nd system, that every master could band a single card of his OWN element from ALL trials. (so no challenger or master could use devourers during the trials, for example, and all other cards (1 per element), banned from masters)

this would be great.

I think the Master can choose how it works.  They can ban one from ANY element or they can take all the bans from other elements and the one from their OWN.
