Then again if I suspect my opponent will ban Fractal, I can build my strategy around not using Fractal, basically making my opponent waste on ban.
I think purify will be banned by some people too ;)If you ban purify, you make a huge revelation of your strategy.. or a good bluff. However, is it worth to waste a ban to make a bluff?
For Darkness, if we ban Fractal, Earthquake, Adrenaline, Rage Potion, Devourer, and SoG... It's going to be painful trying to build decks without those...TU dragons with a phase wall for protection.
The point of this rule is to make it hard for your opponent to build decks. I could definitely build some darkness decks without those.I know; I can too. But still, it's painful to be unable to use the most popular Darkness combos...

I've been having abnormally bad luck in Elements for the past couple of days, so I doubt I can grind enough cash to upgrade a Darkness deck. It seems that when you hate the world, the world really does hate you back :(
I think before we can make a decision on what to ban we should know what the rules are for deck-making apart from what is currently already in the opening post. It probably is what we used in the Phase 3 battles with the extra stipulation of number of upgraded cards limited to our points but I think this being stated explicitly is required.Its in the first post at the bottom of the player matchups.
Banning Nightfall could be a good choice :P.Forget Nightfall. Ban Pulvy, Explosion, Butterfly, Steal, and Fractal.

We could of course redo the :darkness phase 3 and then do the Final Battle. Other option is to give Kael Hate the title and have just an exhibition match or something. this phase will take FOREVER.The 'Banned' cards part was pretty short in my opinion, and only 2 out of the 11 elements may have some organization issues, but otherwise, everyone else is running on track smoothly.
Seems to me like all the Masters (except Mr. Blond) have been slacking off and got less points than their challengers. Interesting fights, we will have.i think that's because almost all challengers who reached the final got 10 points from battle,i think the 6 points were better because only 2 masters can reach 10 or more points wich gives challengers an advantage

Any updates on possible :air "Trial Mini-event"?I get the impression that the "Mini-event" for the Air Trial is probably not going to happen any time soon. :( I don't know why, but I get the feeling that Air's master is going to just be given to the person who actually just shows the most interest, and then go from there...

I tried to convince ScaredGirl to force Masters to appoint the exact date of th battle in their trial section (see trial of Entropy - exact time of battle posted.). And I did. however, she didn't say anything about it in this topic.
Whether she changed her mind or not, I think it would be nice if you told the community when the battle is, so that we can all see it.
After all, an epic Mastery Match happens only a couple time a year.
