9th Trials - Suggestions and Feedback

After all, this thread is for 9th Trials S&F... as in suggestions and feedback for consideration for inclusion or revision of next Trials.  Right?
 

Need more or less 14 hours to 9 trials start, then changes can occur.

I agree on giving a Brawl bonus to be used in Trials but not now.

This kind of stuff should be stated BEFORE the brawl, and not AFTER, only because 5 Masters have led their teams. It's really unfair. And I'm really disappointed.

PS: take a look to the sum in Trials rules post: total scores are 42+ and 40+, not 43+ and 41+.

When I started brawl, I did not expect to receive bonus in trials, also  I did not know if my suggestion would be accepted or not, then I think fair,
however  be strange deny now and then want to approve after just because masters didn't know.

Also when I suggested no one was against this idea (have in favor), now just the TRO's approval then we have controversies, could participate responding more readily?, or prefer wait to approve and then make them remove.

I really with this comment can not think of anything else like I was manipulating things to my advantage, no, I don't really need 2 bonus of Brawl, the Brawl has given me all the expected joys.

So I prefer now bonus to the next trials, not for the reason "masters had no idea" , but I don't want to be compared with handler by only 2 points.

In case you guys are forgetting, Brawl is one of the main privileges for Masters. As long as Brawl keeps its elemental ties, masters have a responsibility to represent their element if they're able. Since this time around Brawl stayed true to its elemental ties, we're providing a slight bonus (which only provides at most 2 final battle upgrades). If you would've participated in Brawl just to get this bonus, that's going against the spirit of Brawl.

We TrOs will discuss the Brawl Bonus for future with BMs, but for this time around Brawl bonus stays.

As I said, I'm disappointed. You should not make rules AFTER an event has done. If you wanted to do so, you had to talk with Brawlmasters, that had to state this bonus BEFORE Brawl began.

Do you want to add a Brawl bonus to Trials? I totally agree, do it for 10th Trials and 5th Brawl. Not now.

News are welcome if done with a...sense. Otherwise, they are...disappointing.

In order to ensure that this does not happen again, I think the rules should tell players to wait as long as possible before getting their matches done, in order to ensure that they do not miss out on any free wins.

This seriously needs changing. I worked very very hard to make sure I got all my games done even against the harder-to-organise opponents. The way it is at the moment, if you send just enough, but don't end up playing you can get free wins.

I think not getting games done should be looked at very carefully, because at the moment it is a big disadvantage if you actually got your games done if someone else in your element gets full wins without actually playing against the same opponents.

example:
I played 24 games and got 15-9
treebeard played 16 games and got 7-9 but is likely to be ruled as more active than opponents in organising, and will end up at 15-9.

Tree hasn't done anything wrong, but it still feels quite sad from my perspective having worked very hard to both get my games done, and have a good win-rate.

EDIT: Half Points for most active, Zero Points for least active makes far more sense - this keeps incentive to really try to get them sorted without giving a big advantage for a most active ruling.

if tree is the more active person, he will receive an equalized amount of wins based on what others received vs the opponent, in order to ensure fairness. But we'll keep your suggestion in mind for future, thanks!

And if flyingcat doesn't post decks he will be treated as having forfeit trials and all his wins will become losses. Spike's illegal decks are being worked on, we'll award wins for his illegal losses accordingly.
