9th Trials - Suggestions and Feedback

I disagree with that because in previous trials we see as many questions "you will lead your team in Brawl?" also for example glennfoo and timpa have many votes because Brawl, and as said before it is interesting to see masters and trialist do more than pvp.

 One thing, I can agree that in Brawl don't have the characteristic elemental, save just the name of team and the master when is boss.

I think it is always good to get members as involved as possible while having fun.  However, I remain unconvinced that Brawl and Trials meld effectively.

Timpa, above, has a couple very salient points -- Masters not having dibs on boss in Brawl & that as they currently do get those dibs then some small sort of Brawl bonus is fair and good.

I like that Masters to get dibs on being Brawl bosses, and I think it's important for Masters to have non-PVP functions and involvement with their element.

I think strengthening the link between Trials and Brawl is better than saying that it isn't currently there and therefore shouldn't be.

The link can exist. But I think that for it to make sense the non-pvp part of trials (phase 1) needs to be taken more seriously (with quality actually mattering, not just completion).

Anyway, if we want to move in this direction the brawl bonus needs to be a thing (also as an indirect way to bring people to brawl).

Another thing is the diferential bonus, not is the same war bonus adding only in the phase 4, with different to general or a soldier, but Brawl bonus can be add before in phase 1 and this is very good!, also the bonus is the same to all, boss and another roles.

My viewpoint is that masters should not get dibs as bosses. The reasons being exactly the ones rob pointed. But since they do get dibs, being a boss is part of the 'master package' and so Brawl should count something for people trying to be masters.

This was my viewpoint also, regarding Vange's suggestion. Me and Physs both agreed that Brawl and Trials are quite distant as forum events, and so I said that Brawl bonus might change in future. But this time since we had five teams led by masters, we're providing a Brawl bonus.

This kind of stuff should be stated BEFORE the brawl, and not AFTER, only because 5 Masters have led their teams. It's really unfair. And I'm really disappointed.

PS: take a look to the sum in Trials rules post: total scores are 42+ and 40+, not 43+ and 41+.

while im all for giving a bonus for brawl, I'd be in for adding it for next time. Masters had no idea they would get points from being in brawl, and its really unfair as spike said.

After all, this thread is for 9th Trials S&F... as in suggestions and feedback for consideration for inclusion or revision of next Trials.  Right?
