- Did you like the increased bonus points selected by TrOs? Or do you think it should be less/more?

- I'd remove this kind of bonuses.

Why do you dislike a system which incentivizes people for putting in more work into Phase 1? Is it because the bonus is decided based off TrO's wishes?

I don't dislike a system that incentivizes people to put more work into phase 1, I don't like how bonus is given (I fully trust TrO's honesty, btw).

I suggest this: all Masters vote for all phase 1 submissions, and we can give bonuses to the best and the 2nd one who receive more votes.

Quote
- What are your thoughts on the round robin system which replaced master's tourney?

- I never liked Master Tourney old system, and I didn't like last Trial system. To make a balanced thing, all Masters should face each other, in a sort of mini-league.

But isn't a mini-league what we just used? Or are you suggesting masters should face a few other masters, determined randomly?

Not randomly; each master will face all other masters (with a Bo5 match system). This will set up a final standing, and we can give bonuses according the standing.

I remember you saying 24 games were too many... and you want to change this system to 11 Bo5 matches? That will be 44 games on average, which is way too many. Even Bo3 is more than we had, with an average of 27,5 games.
Do you have a great idea for a Weekly Tournament? Post it here!

True. But I'm still trying to figure out a system that could merge some stuff (traditional system and new stuff).

Still thinking on it...

Now that trials are over, I'd like feedback on a few aspects from all participants and spectators:

- What are your thoughts on Brawl bonus? If you agree with it, do you think it was implemented properly?
I state here what I stated in phase 3 in my opinion brawl should have no relevance to trials because they brawl teams are not element related and they are certainly not relevent to a master and cannot be made as such as theat would drive participation down.

- Did you like the increased bonus points selected by TrOs? Or do you think it should be less/more?
I didn't fully see how this was implemented but as long as a TrO is capable of participating they should not be able to decide extra points provided due to a bias attitude (not saying any of our TrOs cheated it doesn't feel fair that they can decide extra points) I agree with Spike the masters or objective members should be the ones responsible for deciding extra points

- What are your thoughts on the system of element pools for Phase 2?
It was an interesting twist while personally I am happy with it as someone who struggles to do some of the tasks, but it took something away from the point of phase 1 and I also disagree that other is an element in itself, this is against all other references to elements.

- What are your thoughts on Masters and Challengers facing off in Phase 2?
again this was an interesting twist but at most it should be a Bo3 or Bo5 game not used to fill up a game cap

- What are your thoughts on the round robin system which replaced master's tourney?
as I've never experienced mastership i cannot possibly comment

- Do you agree with the system of 24 separate games over a few Bo5 matches?
I disagree with this 24 games are far too many I feel it should be slightly less however it made trials feel more like a trial.

- STANDINs: were they implemented properly?
STANDINs are iffy ideally the STANDIN of each trial should be proficient enough to provide a test but this needs to be balanced I feel the standin should be a previous master if possible or it should be the same person for all elements.

- How did you like the shard rules for Final battles?
I don't like shards personally but they are relevent for a trials as it proves the person is proficient with their elements shard so as long as there is a way to prevent total abuse they are fine

- How do you feel about using the same old Even/Odd rules for final battles ban system?
I liked that system it allows you to be more tactical with you deck choices it tests both competitors ability with their chosen element

- What do you think about the leniency of TrOs this Trials? How much more strict should we be?
Leniency should not be allowed in such a  large event. I personally feel that rules should be enforced as they are stated no matter who it concerns as some of the rules prevent scewing of results.

- Do you think there should be punishment for disrupting trials? If so, how severe should they be?
That depends the state of the disruption I swear this forum has a universal system for dealing with disruption of organised events. If you disappear from any event for no reason there should be some form of punishment particularly something as large scale as trials. Dissappearing without a reason can also affect the next war where trials are concerned it can indirectly affect the world championship as well. Those who remain active should not get indirectly penalised for someone dissappearing for example in water trials (yes I'm biased) the rules state if you don't post your phase 2 decks by the deadline you are excluded from phase 3 voting while in the long term Blacksmiths 5 votes may not of changed the finals at all (no offence to Hancock) but in a more voted on trials that person could get any number of votes and that will either affect who reaches finals or how mismatched the two finalists are. If you want a more extreme example where that rule did change the finals long back 3 trials ago to Entro trials someone who had no right of reaching that final (namely me) got into the finals because the rule was enforced namely tribaltrouble got excluded. I'm sure if you looked through history there may well have been other occasions of this.
If you have anything else to add, feel free to post! Thank you all for your time.
love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.
