As to loyalty points - here's my suggestion.

Loyalty Bonus is for Challengers only
War Record Bonus is for Master's only

Agree with this. As it stands now, the player with the 2nd most bonus points is hain with 6, and he has never participated in trials. Jen's suggestion is really the only logical choice.

I would suggest a slight modification however:

Loyalty Bonus is for Challengers and Masters
War Record Bonus is for Master's only

This would allow masters wanting to challenge for another element to still gain bonus points based on their war performance but lose out on the loyalty points.

I could be wrong, but my understanding was that the War bonus only applies for the same element, i.e. if hain challenged any other element he would not get the 6 bonus points -- those are exclusive to  as it was earned in  team.

As of now, Cheesy and Oa get to play an extra match with a  opponent, which I feel would be unfair to me and Kuro, as they can gain experience in those extra matches.

I suggest someone else (other than participant of Time Trials) to play those matches. Even the Trial Overseer himself is a great candidate for this task.

I strongly doubt that either of the two mentioned people getting an extra match against the opposite opponent can possibly give any meaningful advantage whatsoever. That said, I would support replacing them with some impartial user (e.g. a participant in an unrelated trial, a master, someone not involved in trials at all, etc.) in order to alleviate any possible negative appearances.

The point being argued is that they gain experience.

The experience gained from single matches is mostly meaningless. It's the accumulation of small amounts that makes true experience.
