Questions haven't changed my views on people. I don't see the need to force a wait. Anyone who wants to wait for answers can, people who aren't having their minds changed can vote and get it over with.

I am thinking final battle threads should be put into respective boards.

1. They are not just battle reports. They are like mini-propaganda before the battle, and a lot of congratz after. It is like an event by itself.

2. Being the most top-level duels, many people will want to read them. For now if you want to read final battles of previous trials, you need to search in the sea of battles in the battle result board.

Also, would it make finals much more interesting if the result wasn't posted as the title? Perhaps just mark [Completed] in the title and have the actual results in the thread to make it more exciting and dramatic for people seeing the results?

I don't have much feedback to provide.  I really, really enjoyed the first two phases and the Final Battle.  I'd +rep Rav if I could.  Someone go +rep Rav for me!

Other than the betting snafu (and the feedback I provided earlier), the only thing I can think of offhand that could be improved was the pace.  Since the beginning of Trials nobody has ever complained that it moves too fast.  There are a lot of complaints that it moves too slow.  Those are mainly impatient people for sure, but I think when there are huge lulls it sort of takes the wind out of everyone's sails.

Gotta remember to update the announcements thread every now and then too, Rav. ;)

-More enforcement on having a written down time (or at least having it posted that it will happen whenever. I don't believe time's was posted anywhere at all.
-Phase 1 still looks as tedious as ever
-Make the final battle section happen

Still dislike war bonus. Still dislike more that challengers who go in the same element as they were war wise don't get bonus points/reduced bonus points if they get to the final battle (As having it effect if they get there is unfair to other participants). I see no reason why a general should be rewarded and not their staff.

Phase 1
Removing phase 1 would shorten trials and a lot of tedious busy work for each participant. Only a handful of people actually like phase 1.

Phase 2
No suggestions regarding challenger's battles since it didn't apply to me. However, forcing people to post decks immediately after their games would go a long way for everyone, especially since decks played could have been illegal. Same goes for master's tournament. Nilsieboy has yet to post any of his decks from this trials or last trials, which IMO means he shoudn't have received points from Phase 2. Also, many participants didnt post decks from losses since they already lost. I think there should be an additional loss of points if decks are not posted in a loss.

Regarding masters tourney rules, I really disliked the 100% upgrade environment. Combine that with a max of 33% off-element, it's even worse. Vast majority of tourney matches determined by coinflip or RNGfail. I suggest lowering the upgrades and allowing 50% off-element. Also, while at first I disliked the whole declaring elements thing, it ended up being an interesting twist requiring additional strategy.

Phase 3
I've never liked phase 3, but that's just me. Not really anything to suggest.

Phase 4
The ban system was interesting. They definitely made things more complex, but I didn't feel they were overly complicated. Not sure if there is anything in particular I would change regarding bans.

agreed with all deuce said so I won't repeat.. except 1 detail, community has to be involved somehow so phase 3 shall remain.  We don't want someone hated by all leading an element and votes helps on this.  Though I gotta say questions are redundant after a while and it's not that fun feeling in a popularity contest.  Maybe this phase could be tweaked but I wouldn't remove it.

Phase 1: I'm not sure if I liked it. Deckbuilding was nice (I like trios) but the other two weren't too good. I suppose Phase 1's only use is to show who is determined in Trials and who is not (and give points accordingly), so completely eliminating it may not be a good decision.

Phase 2: All good. I really liked how Other counted in-element here. Bans in off-element battles could have improved things a lot probably.

Phase 3: Not much to do here. I expected questions to be more interesting, not just slave labor but that really isn't the event's fault.

Phase 4: I would have liked more ban points, 32 felt really few.
