You seriously expect a challenger to play 47 bo5's in a week while having decks prepared for each element? It is absurd to demand a challenger to have that much free time (it can take up to an hour to play a bo5 - meaning you require each player to play for almost 7 hours a day not including deckbuilding). Ridiculous.
Give more time, obviously. I thought that was implied.

And what is the problem with that? war lasts a lot longer than 3 weeks. Trials are a big part of the forums, why rush it?

There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but it represents a huge departure from what trials have always been. Even War only expects you to complete 1 match a week. To complete 47 matches would seem to require at least 10 weeks just to be a reasonable timeframe (and 5 matches a week is a very very large number anyway). Leagues expect you to complete 30 matches over 3 months. On that pace, 47 matches would require about 20 weeks - a very long amount of time. Trials would thus go about half the year, with War taking up about the other half. Trials and War would become annual. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I feel like it would be a poor departure from what we have now.

I see your point there.
How about not needing to face everyone, but a system that would reward activity. You can play against anyone in trials, a win gives you 3 points and a loss gives you 1 point, and then, you re-scale whoever has most points back to the 4, the 2nd to 2 and everything.

I was going to suggest something similar for discussion. However, battles with challengers of your element should either be weighted much more or part of a separate phase as they are now. Banning would be... difficult. This poses some new problems though. How much weight should be on activity? Is having a Mini-League in Trials emphasizing ones activity over their PvP skill? Personally, I don't see anything wrong with requiring aspiring Masters to be active. It's something to discuss though.

Problem with that is that people will choose to fight the worse player of each element. If its randomized, it lets a lot of things to RNG, as some people will have to face the bests while others wont.

I didn't see "worse" players in this trials. players who goes here are all good I think that there wasn't any noob (except ImaNoob obv) in this trial. Still I think that's not a good idea and that this current system was very good.

Rather than limiting by element or setting up a list, you could leave it relatively open like Leagues but limit it to say... 5 additional battles per participant or something. I agree that the current system looked pretty great from where I'm standing. This could just be like Part 3 of Phase 2!

I have no complains as well, i was just pointing out some improvements over the changes other people were suggesting.
In element and opposites fit perfectly to me. The point is if maybe some elemental battles are too one-sided something must be done. Some elements aren't made for battling their opposite :P
