For Phase 1, did we get rid of the Trial organizer's 'Favorite' points? There was a good deal of passion on both sides of that option, I am just curious why it is out. Due to too much work for the organizers, or, due to dislike?
As with others, I am curious the PvP rules for both the round robin and the opposing element games. I enjoy the 6-6 rules for the round robin we've had for two trials now (6 upped, 6 out of element), but it does reduce deck choices. As those have stated before, some opposing elements have tilted battles. I am interested to see what you have in mind for those deck building sets.
I have never been a fan of the community vote, but that is mostly because I am not loved.
You are only able to gain a 4 point lead against another fully complete round 1 opponent. With four opponents and a master, that is a huge lead, but if you are in a low pool trials, it becomes more of a factor. (more my two cents here, instead of anything else)
I truly enjoyed the deck building options for the masters battle in trials #4. I would change it slightly to one of the suggestions given, like only able to use off-element cards once, not full elements. That would allow more duo-trios, odd decks without murdering the spirit of the deck building limitation.
My opinion, the in-element ban was the strongest pick in the last master's battle. This choice can kill a good deal of your opponent's options, much more than any of the other bans. Following my first suggestion, I would love to see a change to something like, 7 bans, any cards, bans from your elements cost 4 bans. That way the power of an in-element ban is countered to an option just as interesting and curious.
