I'm begining to feel like it may be a better idea to postpone the trials a bit until 1.27 gets implemented...

hopefully it'll be implemented within the next week, since that's when the real battles begin after the two pre-phases.

Might I suggest that regardless of whether 1.27 comes out during trials or not, these cards will all be banned? After all, we never got a chance to ban them, should they come out in time.

I think that sounds like a good idea.

I guess we'll just have to deal with the cards that get changed though.

We're a bit on a time schedule here... We're not postponing Trials without any good reason, especially when there is an alternative.

What exactly stopped you from banning them? And why is the patch a bad thing? Adapting to new environment is a useful skill worth testing.

Yes, ban everything that looks interesting. I was looking forward for the usage of skull shields in Trial of Death or the ghosts in Trial of Time.


Also, the wording is inconsistent. Are you banning only the new cards of 1.27 or every card that will change? The way I see it:

Fractal changed in a middle of the war, hurting some teams a lot, and yet we didn't restart the war.

I personally don't really care either way. The new cards won't be affecting Death much if any. But even if they did i would welcome it. Whats a few more cards? And besides everyone should be using the trainer testing the new cards anyhow so it would be easy enough to prepare for.

I think people are taking these bannings way too seriously. 6 bans is already a whole bunch and i doubt anyone would have banned the new cards anyways.

Ghost, Acceleration, Mitosis, all seem like they would be in-element bans if they were to be banned which conveniently enough is not allowed.

Since we don't know whether or not trial battles will be before or after the release of the new patch those bans are totally dead if it's not released by then (or worse, it's released but the cards aren't in the bazaar yet), the card changes don't worry me, Mitosis (it's just a second Fractal, banning one isn't much use without banning the other, too) and Ghost of the Past however, are a viable concern for me (they synergize with Darkness well). And I prefer any ban choice of mine over dead bans (isn't that obvious?).

Maybe people should be allowed to ban the new cards, but if they aren't released have a back up ban that will be used.
