I think DANI should simply replace the image with something originally done (if there is not evidence provided of the current/first submission being original). That is just my opinion, of course.
imo, this creates a precedent. If you tried to cheat, then you should be penalized, otherwise there's no reason to not try and cheat since you can just walk away free and submit something else if you get caught.
Why would we not apply logic and case-by-case reason here? I do not for a second think DANI was "trying to cheat" nor "walk away free".
Could it be a dangerous precedent... I guess so. From MY SEAT, in MY opinion only, I think getting 0 points and submitting an original replacement is fair and reasonable.
Do you feel it was intentionally leveraging or angling in a cheating sort of way? I did not at all get that feeling but perhaps you saw something or from another viewpoint that others are less apt to find on their own...
(Repeat note: this is all me sharing my opinion and in no way do I think I have specific sway or hold responsibility for a decision or result in the matter. I do feel entitled to follow-up on the TrO indication to share our opinions though especially being it is in the Trial Element for which I am defending.)
