11th Trials - Phase 3: Questions for all elements

In this thread you can ask questions for all the 12 elements together. These questions should be the same for all 12 elements though. Otherwise, please post in the respective threads:

@ all, but especially the ones who will face STANDIN: Can you build a team that you can lead to victory? I believe this will have the following aspects: Can you yourselves build good decks to beat your opponents? Can you predict and counter them with your element? Can you draft a Team that is a capable of doing that whenever you cant? Will you be able to inspire your teammates to do all in their power to fight for the win in every game? Can you infect others with your enthusiasm for your element (if you have any in the first place)? And most importantly: Will you put the necessary time investment in all those things?

@All: What does being a Master mean? What kind of traits will you exemplify as a Master?

@Trialists who have previously competed in a different element: A wise woman once asked for this specific category of people to tell them, so she knows who not to vote for. (Well, actually she asked if you're trialling for your favourite element, but eh, it's a similar category. While I might not be as drastic as her, loyalty is an important aspect of being a Master for me. Why should we see you as a representative as the element you have chosen, rather than any others, that you have trialled for prior?

EDIT: I have tallied my votes based solely on this single question. It has been received with mixed opinions, to say the least. I posed this question to assess the effort that each Trialist was willing to go to in order to achieve their goals. Those who were not able to put in the effort I do not consider worthy. I have no shame in discriminating against those who did and did not.

It would be wise to point out that as one of the few non-PvPers in the community, and despite the obvious fact that Mastery is primarily an indicator of PvP skill, I consider Master to be as much of a community leader as Competition Organiser or Administrator or any other staff role. Some may disagree but PvP is what keeps this community together, in my opinion, and feel free to call my hypocrite because of that. I judge Masters based on their ability to interact with the community, not in their PvP skill or ability to explain a deck, and I intend to keep doing so for future Trials.

My question may seem basic, it may seem immature. It's not the answer to the question that I care about. I really couldn't give a damn that you're scared of spiders. I want to know how much effort you'll go to show me. I have serious doubts about the validity of any Master who is not willing to go to the lengths to do that - especially those who consider themselves above such trivialities.

I did not allow previous opinions of Trialists, whether negative or positive, to play any role in my vote.

Unless otherwise specified, I voted for the person to whom I awarded the most points out of ten. I did not engage in tactical voting - where I state I voted None Worthy, I voted None Worthy.

I wouldn't expect someone to literally take a photo of the ocean for the sake of trials, unless they live near one. FIRE	Zyardran: Responded but was not able to Google a picture. To take a picture of one would be understandably difficult, however. 1/10 Ryli: Entirely understandable response however very little thought was put into it. 2/10 ValerianFlame: I feel that this response was less of a "What do I dislike?" and more of a "What's a popular opinion that I can express in order to get more votes?" Despite being a picture I felt it had to be marked down for that, although I could very well be wrong. 2/10 worldwideweb3: I can relate. 10/10

What does your element represent and mean to you outside of the gameplay? What has it done for you, and what would you do for it as a Master?

@All : Analyse your performance in trials so far (both phases) in a critical manner. Where did you go right? Where did you go wrong? What would you change if you could? You have 4 hours. (if someone wants me to answer this, pm)

Also, if you were made a Trials Overseer this trials, what would you have done differently?

  For the sake of argument, assume that you are not a WM yourself, just in case you're thinking 'I'm a WM, there's no way the WMs will approach me to Gen'.

Ways to indicate that include quoting only the relevant question for your situation, saying whether you're Trialling for your favourite element after the full quote ... anything goes, really, as long as ppl can know, at the very least implicitly, whether you're Trialling for your favourite element without checking your Forum profile )

Seriously though, I won't be answering all questions here. If you want to ask me something, do it in the Trials of Entropy. Most questions here are too broad/general.
