Trenzalore - RulesFight for control of the universe in the PvP Event with a Doctor Who theme. First and Second Place players are each rewarded with a Mark/Nymph!Spoiler for Lore:
There was once a planet called Gallifrey, millions of light years away from Earth. Gallifrey was a beautiful planet. Its sky was a burnt orange, with the Citadel enclosed in a mighty glass dome, shining under the twin suns. Most importantly, Gallifrey was home to the Time Lords, an ancient and powerful race. They were similar in appearance to humans, but the Time Lords had much greater strength and intelligence. Over their millions of years of existence, the Time Lords achieved unparalleled mastery of time travel. Despite their remarkable advancements, the Time Lords were content merely observing the universe. They were an isolated and peaceful society, at least until the Time War broke out.
The Time Lords were attacked by a race called the Daleks. The Daleks were squid-like mutants enclosed in a nearly impenetrable metal shell. Their primary weapon was a powerful metal laser which destroyed almost anything it hit. The Daleks were a race of war and hatred, designed with the sole purpose of the destruction of all other life in the universe. Their technological advancements were rivaled only by the Time Lords, who the Daleks sought to exterminate. The Daleks and Time Lords fought each other in a monumental conflict known as the Time War.
The Time War lasted for thousands of years. During the war, billions of lives were lost and entire galaxies were destroyed. The Time Lords created hundreds of powerful sky trenches to prevent the Daleks from reaching Gallifrey, but the sheer size of the Dalek army was overpowering. On the last day of the Time War, the Daleks broke through the sky trenches.
They surrounded Gallifrey from all directions, firing powerful lasers down on the unprotected planet. The last resistance to the mighty Dalek empire was quickly dying, and the survival of the rest of the universe was in grave danger. When all seemed to be lost, the impossible happened: Gallifrey disappeared.
A renegade Time Lord known as the Doctor used his TARDIS, the greatest space ship in the universe, to freeze Gallifrey in a single moment in time, held in a parallel pocket universe. With Gallifrey suddenly gone, the Daleks fired their lasers at each other, destroying themselves in their own crossfire. To the rest of the universe, it looked as if the Time Lords and Daleks had annihilated each other.
Far away from the remnants of the Time War, there was a planet called Trenzalore. It was an unimportant planet, much like any other, until the day it sent the universe a message. A bell tolling among the stars, ringing out to the dark corners of creation. And everybody came to see. Although no one understood the message, everyone who heard it found themselves afraid.
The seven most powerful races in the universe traveled to Trenzalore to investigate the mysterious message. They soon discovered that the message was not coming from Trenzalore at all. It was actually emanating through a crack in the universe, two parts of space and time that should have never touched, pressed together on the surface of Trenzalore.
Trenzalore is now the battlefield of a war between the few remaining Time Lords and Daleks, in addition to the Cybermen, Sontarans, Silents, Weeping Angels, and Ice Warriors. It is the most important war in the universe since the Time War, because there is a planet on the other side of the crack in the universe. It is trapped in a parallel universe, sending out a call for help through the crack on Trenzalore. Whoever controls Trenzalore decides the fate of the trapped planet, and thus, the fate of the universe. After all, the planet is no ordinary planet. It is the most important and powerful planet in existence: Gallifrey.

3. MATCHES-Matches are best-of-five. The first player to win three games wins the match.
- At the beginning of each round, players are paired against 1 opponent. Players have 7 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a private message and try to find a time that suits them both.
- Players are expected to play the entire match at once, rather than spacing out the individual games over the course of multiple days. Players are not allowed to spend more than 10 minutes deckbuilding in between games.
- In the event of a desync, both players finish the game against the AI. If only one player defeats their AI opponent, that player is the winner. If both (or neither) players win, the game is replayed with the same decks. Upon defeating the AI opponent, a screenshot of the turn of the win must be provided.
- After each game, players must reveal which support cards were used in their deck, if requested by the opponent.
- Pairings are randomized, on the condition that there will be no rematches, if possible. Furthermore, players will not face an opponent from their own race, if possible.
- If there is an odd number of players remaining, then a player will receive a bye. The bye will go to a player who has not yet been given a bye, if possible.
- If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time.
- After the match, both players must submit their results and decks in the official thread for the round.
4. DECKBUILDING- A player may use cards from their race's Element in every game. At least 40% of all cards in a deck must come from their race's Element.
- Each support card may be used in only one game per match. The exception to this rule is the Sontaran race, who may use each support card in two games per match.
- The number of upgrades allowed is determined by which class you choose.
- You may change your deck during the match. If the match lasts 5 games, you are allowed to use up to 5 different decks, as long as they are all legal.
