Thank you for catching that. I've decided that players who do not send in their choices will not be in the event and changed the rules accordingly. While it was possible to do well with random choices in Sacrifice, having randomized support cards in Trenzalore will be extremely difficult to win with. Furthermore, I want to ensure that the players on the sign-up list are active.

(personal) Q&A time!: does X amount of (off-element) cards in a deck ≤ X amount of support cards, can you use 7 cards in the support deck to counteract the daleks ability (kinda redundant, I know)?... *pointless babble that is clearly answered by previous posts in the forum*... and, because I thought I had more writing this earlier but can't seem to think of them, if theres one week that for most of I really won't be here (at mah house), should I stay out or... what?

You don't really need that many upgrades. You can play as a Time Lord or Dalek and upgrade 4 in-element cards, which you can use every game. Even if you don't have 4 upgrades, it won't make that much of a difference. It's mostly your deckbuilding skill that matters.

All of your support cards are unique cards. For each of your 15 support cards, you can use up to 6 copies of them in your games.

As it is right now, one of the races has 7 sign-ups, which is a third of the people who have decided on a race. Another two of the races have only 1 player each.

What would ya'll think about buffing the two least popular races by giving them 2 additional upgrades?

How about nerfing the most popular race by removing 2 upgrades? I would be sure to alert the players who chose this race.

Ultimately I think the event will be more interesting if there is a more even distribution of classes. It won't be fair for the players who chose the less popular (and probably weaker) races to be at a disadvantage, and it wouldn't be very fun for the players in the most popular race to have to play each other.

I would like to hear some feedback as to whether or not I should implement these changes. If I decide to go through with them, I will make sure to inform the players.

Without knowledge of which is which, I'd say let the event play out - you balanced it as well as you could beforehand, and popular opinion may in fact just be wrong as to which is strong/weak.

Hard to tell before it's been run whether signup rate reflects power.

Now I'm really curious :p  I picked the choice I did for a couple of reasons, one being that I thought it was a strong choice, but also that it was one that might not be seen as a strong choice.  The other reason I picked it was because of certain events in War...

Buff the unpopular ones is fine by me... Nerfing what i might have tested ,I dont like that.  Also please give an extra day or two if you mais changes.

Just leave it as it is.
Everybody have possibility to pick whatever Race they want.
Changing the rules and prolonging the event doesnt lead anywhere.
We can do it to infinity.
Changes and balancing you may do in Trenzalore #2.

I prefer a delayed start with a more balanced ruleset.
It's not that much fun if the majority has the same race...
